Page in Castilian to promote the idea of 'eight Celtic nations'. Eight? Well, some people in the decidely non-Celtic Iberian regions of Galícia and Asturias would like to join the club. Sorry, but it's closed. (Galicia is Portuguese-speaking. So I suppose we'll have to include Portugal and Brazil, too.)

The principal is clear - if a country has a distinctive language, and this language belongs to the Celtic branch of the Indo-European language family, then the country is Celtic. If not - then it's not Celtic.

Aún no es difícil encontrar webs tanto galegas, asturianas, irlandesas o anglosajonas, por citar algo, donde no se encuentran bien Galicia o Asturies o ambas o la falta de Bretaña (Bryzeh) o Cornualles (Kernow), sin olvidar a veces a la Isla de Man (Mannin).

A veces un simple gesto, colocando una bandera pequeña, puede suponer un espaldarazo a las reivindicaciones culturales de éstas naciones, aunque no incluyan nada sobre ése país, pero ya despierta la curiosidad de la persona que la ve, y quien sabe si no busca información acerca de Galiza, Mannin o Asturies. Es muy importante apoyar ésta campaña, sobretodo porque muchas de esas webs que no incluyen a todas las naciones celtas, resultan ser anglosajonas, y el inglés, nos guste o no, es el idioma dominante en internet...

The Celtic League ésta es la tipica web anglosajona (!!!sic), que sólo incluye a las seis naciones, como dicen ellos, haber si les podemos bombardear a e-mails y descubren algo más..."
