PUMED LLYFR MOSES, YR HWN A ELWIR
DEUTERONOMIUM

PENNOD 1

++PENNOD 1&&&
Deuteronomium :: Deuteronomium

1:1 Dyma y geiriau a ddywedodd Moses wrth holl Israel, or tu yma ir Iorddonen, yn yr anialwch, ar y rhos gyferbyn r mr coch, rhwng Paran, a Toffel, a Laban, a Haseroth, a Disahab.

1:1 These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

1:2 (Taith un diwrnod ar ddeg sydd o Horeb, ffordd yr eir i fynydd Seir, hyd Cades-Barnea.)

1:2 (There are eleven days' journey from Horeb by the way of mount Seir unto Kadeshbarnea.)

1:3 A bu yn y ddeugeinfed flwyddyn, yn yr unfed mis ar ddeg, ar y dydd cyntaf or mis, i Moses lefaru wrth feibion Israel, yn l yr hyn oll a orchmynasai yr ARGLWYDD iddo ei ddywedyd wrthynt;

1:3 And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spake unto the children of Israel, according unto all that the LORD had given him in commandment unto them;

1:4 Wedi iddo ladd Sehon brenin yr Amoriaid, yr hwn oedd yn trigo yn Hesbon, ac Og brenin Basan, yr hwn oedd yn trigo yn Astaroth, o fewn Edrei;

1:4 After he had slain Sihon the king of the Amorites, which dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrei:

1:5 Or tu yma ir Iorddonen, yng ngwlad Moab, y dechreuodd Moses egluror gyfraith hon, gan ddywedyd,

1:5 On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying,

1:6 Yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw a lefarodd wrthym ni yn Horeb, gan ddywedyd, Digon i chwi drigo hyd yn hyn yn y mynydd hwn:

1:6 The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:

1:7 Dychwelwch, a chychwynnwch rhagoch, ac ewch i fynydd yr Amoriaid, ac iw holl gyfagos leoedd; ir rhos, ir mynydd, ac ir dyffryn, ac ir deau, ac i borthladd y mr, i dir y Canaaneaid, ac i Libanus, hyd yr afon fawr, afon Ewffrates.

1:7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.

1:8 Wele, rhoddais y wlad och blaen chwi: ewch i mewn, a pherchenogwch y wlad yr hon a dyngodd yr ARGLWYDD ich tadau chwi, i Abraham, i Isaac, ac i Jacob, ar ei rhoddi iddynt, ac iw had ar eu hl hwynt.

1:8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.

1:9 A mi a leferais wrthych yr amser hwnnw, gan ddywedyd, Ni allaf fi fy hun eich cynnal chwi:

1:9 And I spake unto you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone:

1:10 Yr arglwydd eich Duw ach lluosogodd chwi; ac wele chwi heddiw fel sr y nefoedd o luosowgrwydd.

1:10 The LORD your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.

1:11 (arglwydd dduw eich tadau ach cynyddo yn fil lluosocach nag ydych, ac ach bendithio, fel y llefarodd efe wrthych!)

1:11 (The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)

1:12 Pa wedd y dygwn fy hun eich blinder, ach baich, ach ymryson chwi?

1:12 How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?

1:13 Moeswch i chwi wŷr doethion, a deallus, a rhai hynod trwy eich llwythau; fel y gosodwyf hwynt yn bennau arnoch chwi.

1:13 Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.

1:14 Ac atebasoch fi, a dywedasoch, Da yw gwneuthur y peth a ddywedaist.

1:14 And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.

1:15 Cymerais gan hynny bennau eich llwythau chwi, sef gwŷr doethion, a rhai hynod, ac au gwneuthum hwynt yn bennau arnoch; sef yn gapteiniaid ar filoedd, ac yn gapteiniaid ar gannoedd, ac yn gapteiniaid ar ddegau a deugain, ac yn gapteiniaid ar ddegau, ac yn swyddogion yn eich llwythau chwi.

1:15 So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.

1:16 Ar amser hwnnw y gorchmynnais ich barnwyr chwi, gan ddywedyd, Gwrandewch ddadleuon rhwng eich brodyr, a bernwch yn gyfiawn rhwng gŵr ai frawd, ac ar dieithr sydd gydag ef.

1:16 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

1:17 Na chydnabyddwch wynebau mewn barn; gwrandewch ar y lleiaf, yn gystal ag ar y mwyaf: nac ofnwch wyneb gŵr; oblegid y farn sydd eiddo Duw: ar peth a fydd rhy galed i chwi, a ddygwch ataf fi, a mi ai gwrandawaf.

1:17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.

1:18 Gorchmynnais i chwi hefyd yr amser hwnnw yr holl bethau a ddylech eu gwneuthur.

1:18 And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.

1:19 A phan fudasom o Horeb, ni a gerddasom trwyr holl anialwch mawr ac ofnadwy hwnnw, yr hwn a welsoch ffordd yr eir i fynydd yr Amoriaid, fel y gorchmynasai yr arglwydd ein Duw i ni: ac a ddaethom i Cades-Barnea.

1:19 And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea.

1:20 A dywedais wrthych, Daethoch hyd fynydd yr Amoriaid, yr hwn y mae yr arglwydd ein Duw yn ei roddi i ni.

1:20 And I said unto you, Ye are come unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God doth give unto us.

1:21 Wele, yr arglwydd dy dduw a roddes y wlad oth flaen: dos i fyny a pherchenoga hi, fel y llefarodd arglwydd dduw dy dadau wrthynt; nac ofna, ac na lwfrha.

1:21 Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.

1:22 A chwi oll a ddaethoch ataf, ac a ddywedasoch, Anfonwn wŷr on blaen, a hwy a chwiliant y wlad i ni, ac a fynegant beth i ni am y ffordd yr awn i fyny ar hyd-ddi, ac am y dinasoedd y deuwn i mewn iddynt.

1:22 And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.

1:23 Ar peth oedd dda yn fy ngolwg: ac mi a gymerais ddeuddengwr ohonoch, un gŵr o bob llwyth.

1:23 And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe:

1:24 A hwy a droesant, ac a aethant i fyny ir mynydd, ac a ddaethant hyd ddyffryn Escol, ac ai chwiliasant ef.

1:24 And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out.

1:25 Ac a gymerasant o ffrwyth y tir yn eu llaw, ac ai dygasant i waered atom ni, ac a ddygasant air i ni drachefn, ac a ddywedasant, Da yw y wlad y mae yr arglwydd ein Duw yn ei rhoddi i ni.

1:25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God doth give us.

1:26 Er hynny ni fynnech fyned i fyny, ond gwrthryfelasoch yn erbyn gair yr arglwydd eich Duw.

1:26 Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God:

1:27 Grwgnachasoch hefyd yn eich pebyll, a dywedasoch, Am gasu or arglwydd nyni, y dug efe ni allan o dir yr Aifft in rhoddi yn llaw yr Amoriaid, in difetha.

1:27 And ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.

1:28 I ba le yr awn i fyny? ein brodyr an digalonasant ni, gan ddywedyd, Pobl fwy a hwy na nyni ydynt; dinasoedd mawrion a chaerog hyd y nefoedd: meibion yr Anaciaid hefyd a welsom ni yno.

1:28 Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.

1:29 Yna y dywedais wrthych, Nac arswydwch, ac nac ofnwch rhagddynt hwy.

1:29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them.

1:30 Yr arglwydd eich Duw, yr hwn sydd yn myned och blaen, efe a ymladd drosoch, yn 1 yr hyn oll a wnaeth efe eroch chwi yn yr Aifft o flaen eich llygaid;

1:30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;

1:31 Ac yn yr anialwch, lle y gwelaist fel yth ddug yr arglwydd dy dduw, fel y dwg gŵr ei fab, yn yr holl ffordd a gerddasoch, nes eich dyfod ir man yma.

1:31 And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.

1:32 Eto yn y peth hyn ni chredasoch chwi yn yr arglwydd eich Duw,

1:32 Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God,

1:33 Yr hwn oedd yn myned och blaen chwi ar hyd y ffordd, i chwilio i chwi am le i wersyllu; y nos mewn tn, i ddangos i chwi pa ffordd yr aech, ar dydd mewn cwmwl.

1:33 Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to show you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day.

1:34 A chlybu yr arglwydd lais eich geiriau; ac a ddigiodd, ac a dyngodd, gan ddywedyd,

1:34 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,

1:35 Diau na chaiff yr un or dynion hyn, or genhedlaeth ddrwg hon, weled y wlad dda yr hon y tyngais ar ei rhoddi ich tadau chwi;

1:35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,

1:36 Oddieithr Caleb mab Jeffunne: efe ai gwl hi, ac iddo ef y rhoddaf y wlad y sangodd efe arni, ac iw feibion; o achos cyflawni ohono wneuthur ar l yr arglwydd.

1:36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the LORD.

1:37 Wrthyf finnau hefyd y digiodd yr arglwydd och plegid chwi, gan ddywedyd, Tithau hefyd ni chei fyned i mewn yno.

1:37 Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither.

1:38 Josua mab Nun, yr hwn sydd yn sefyll ger dy fron di, efe a i mewn yno: cadarnha di ef; canys efe ai rhan hi yn etifeddiaeth i Israel.

1:38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

1:39 Eich plant hefyd, y rhai y dywedasoch y byddent yn ysbail, ach meibion chwi, y rhai ni wyddant heddiw na da na drwg, hwynt-hwy a nt i mewn yno, ac iddynt hwy y rhoddaf hi, a hwy ai perchenogant hi.

1:39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.

1:40 Trowch chwithau, ac ewch ir anialwch ar hyd ffordd y mr coch.

1:40 But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.

1:41 Yna yr atebasoch, ac a ddywedasoch wrthyf, Pechasom yn erbyn yr arglwydd: nyni a awn i fyny ac a ymladdwn, yn 1 yr hyn oll a orchmynnodd yr arglwydd ein Duw i ni. A gwisgasoch bob un ei arfau rhyfel, ac a ymroesoch i fyned i fyny ir mynydd.

1:41 Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war, ye were ready to go up into the hill.

1:42 A dywedodd yr arglwydd wrthyf, Dywed wrthynt, Nac ewch i fyny, ac na ryfelwch; oblegid nid ydwyf fi yn eich mysg chwi; rhag eich taro o flaen eich gelynion.

1:42 And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.

1:43 Felly y dywedais wrthych; ond ni wrandawsoch, eithr gwrthryfelasoch yn erbyn gair yr arglwydd; rhyfygasoch hefyd, ac aethoch i fyny ir mynydd.

1:43 So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.

1:44 A daeth allan yr Amoriaid, oedd yn trigo yn y mynydd hwnnw, ich cyfarfod chwi; ac ach ymlidiasant fel y gwnai gwenyn, ac ach difethasant chwi yn Seir, hyd Horma.

1:44 And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.

1:45 A dychwelasoch, ac wylasoch gerbron yr arglwydd: ond ni wrandawodd yr arglwydd ar eich llef, ac ni roddes glust i chwi.

1:45 And ye returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.

1:46 Ac arosasoch yn Cades ddyddiau lawer, megis y dyddiau yr arosasoch or blaen.

1:46 So ye abode in Kadesh many days, according unto the days that ye abode there.

PENNOD 2

++PENNOD 2&&&

2:1 Yna y troesom, ac yr aethom ir anialwch, ar hyd ffordd y mr coch, fel y dywedasai yr arglwydd wrthyf, ac a amgylchasom fynydd Seir ddyddiau lawer.

2:1 Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

2:2 Llefarodd yr arglwydd hefyd wrthyf, gan ddywedyd,

2:2 And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

2:3 Digon i chwi amgylchu y mynydd hwn hyd yn hyn; ymchwelwch rhagoch tuar gogledd.

2:3 Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

2:4 A gorchymyn ir bobl, gan ddywedyd, Yr ydych i dramwyo trwy derfynau eich brodyr, meibion Esau, y rhai sydd yn trigo yn Seir: a hwythau a ofnant rhagoch: ond ymgedwch yn ddyfal.

2:4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

2:5 Nac ymyrrwch arnynt: oherwydd ni roddaf i chwi ou tir hwynt gymaint a lled troed; canys yn etifeddiaeth i Esau y rhoddais fynydd Seir;

2:5 Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

2:6 Prynwch fwyd ganddynt am Brian, fel y bwytaoch: a phrynwch hefyd ddwfr ganddynt am arian, fel yr yfoch,

2:6 Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.

2:7 Canys yr arglwydd dy dduw ath fendithiodd di yn holl waith dy law: gwybu dy gerdded yn yr anialwch mawr hwn: y deugain mlynedd hyn y bu yr arglwydd dy dduw gyda thi; ni bu arnat eisiau dim.

2:7 For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

2:8 Ac wedi ein myned heibio oddi wrth ein brodyr, meibion Esau, y rhai ydynt yn trigo yn Seir, o ffordd y rhos o Elath, ac o EsionGaber, ni a ddychwelasom, ac a aethom ar hyd ffordd anialwch Moab.

2:8 And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Eziongaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

2:9 Ar ARGLWYDD a ddywedodd wrthyf, Na orthryma Moab, ac nac ymgynnull i ryfel yn eu herbyn hwynt: oblegid ni roddaf i ti feddiant oi dir ef; oherwydd i feibion Lot y rhoddais Ar yn etifeddiaeth.

2:9 And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

2:10 (Yr Emiaid or blaen a gyfaneddasant ynddi; pobl fawr ac aml, ac uchel, fel yr Anaciaid;

2:10 The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;

2:11 Yn gewri y cymerwyd hwynt hefyd, fel yr Anaciaid; ar Moabiaid au galwent hwy yn Emiaid.

2:11 Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.

2:12 Yr Horiaid hefyd a breswyliasant yn Seir or blaen; a meibion Esau a ddaeth ar eu hl hwynt, ac au difethasant ou blaen, a thrigasant yn eu lle hwynt; fel y gwnaeth Israel i wlad ei etifeddiaeth yntau, yr hon a roddes yr ARGLWYDD iddynt.)

2:12 The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.

2:13 Yna y dywedais, Cyfodwch yn awr, a thramwywch rhagoch dros afon Sared. A ni a aethom dros afon Sared.

2:13 Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.

2:14 Ar dyddiau y cerddasom o Cades-Barnea, hyd pan ddaethom dros afon Sared, oedd onid dwy flynedd deugain; nes darfod holl genhedlaeth y gwŷr o ryfel o ganol y gwersyllau, fel y tyngasai yr ARGLWYDD wrthynt.

2:14 And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.

2:15 Canys llaw yr ARGLWYDD ydoedd yn eu herbyn hwynt, iw torri hwynt o ganol y gwersyll, hyd oni ddarfuant.

2:15 For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.

2:16 A bu, wedi darfod yr holl ryfelwyr au marw o blith y bobloedd,

2:16 So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

2:17 Lefaru or ARGLWYDD wrthyf, gan ddywedyd,

2:17 That the LORD spake unto me, saying,

2:18 Tydi heddiw wyt ar fyned trwy derfynau Moab, sef trwy Ar:

2:18 Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:

2:19 A phan ddelych di gyferbyn meibion Ammon, na orthryma hwynt, ac nac ymyrr arnynt; oblegid ni roddaf feddiant o dir meibion Ammon i ti;
canys rhoddais ef yn etifeddiaeth i feibion Lot.

2:19 And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

2:20 Yn wlad cewri hefyd y cyfrifwyd hi: cewri a breswyliasant ynddi or blaen; ar Ammoniaid au galwent hwy yn Samsummiaid:

2:20 (That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

2:21 Pobl fawr ac aml, ac uchel, fel yr Anaciaid, ar ARGLWYDD au difethodd hwynt ou blaen hwy; a hwy a ddaethant ar eu hl hwynt, ac a drigasant yn eu lle hwynt.

2:21 A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:

2:22 Fel y gwnaeth i feibion Esau, y rhai sydd yn trigo yn Seir, pan ddifethodd efe yr Horiaid ou blaen, fel y daethant ar eu hl hwynt, ac y trigasant yn eu lle hwynt, hyd y dydd hwn;

2:22 As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:

2:23 Felly am yr Afiaid, y rhai oedd yn trigo yn Haserim, hyd Assa, y Cafftoriaid, y rhai a ddaethant allan o Cafftor, au difethasant hwy, ac a drigasant yn eu lle hwynt.)

2:23 And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)

2:24 Cyfodwch, cychwynnwch, ac ewch dros afon Arnon: wele, rhoddais yn dy law di Sehon brenin Hesbon, yr Amoriad, ai wlad ef; dechrau ei meddiannu hi, a rhyfela yn ei erbyn ef.

2:24 Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

2:25 Y dydd hwn y dechreuaf roddi dy arswyd ath ofn di ar y bobloedd dan yr holl nefoedd: y rhai a glywant dy enw di, a ddychrynant, ac a lesgant rhagot ti.

2:25 This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.

2:26 A mi a anfonais genhadau o anialwch Cedemoth, at Sehon brenin Hesbon, a geiriau heddwch, gan ddywedyd,

2:26 And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

2:27 Gad i mi fyned trwy dy wlad di: ar hyd y briffordd y cerddaf; ni chiliaf ir tu deau nac ir tu aswy.

2:27 Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.

2:28 Gwerth fwyd am arian i mi, fel y bwytawyf; a dyro ddwfr am arian i mi, fel yr yfwyf: ar fy nhraed yn unig y tramwyaf;

2:28 Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;

2:29 (Fel y gwnaeth meibion Esau i mi, y rhai sydd yn trigo yn Seir, ar Moabiaid, y rhai sydd yn trigo yn Ar;) hyd onid elwyf dros yr Iorddonen, ir wlad y mae yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw yn ei rhoddi i ni.

2:29 (As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.

2:30 Ond ni fynnai Sehon brenin Hesbon ein gollwng heb ei law: oblegid yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW a galedasai ei ysbryd ef, ac a gadarnhasai ei galon ef, er mwyn ei roddi ef yn dy law di; megis heddiw y gwelir.

2:30 But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.

2:31 Ar ARGLWYDD a ddywedodd wrthyf, Wele, dechreuais roddi Sehon ai wlad oth flaen di: dechrau feddiannu, fel yr etifeddech ei wlad ef.

2:31 And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.

2:32 Yna Sehon a ddaeth allan in cyfarfod ni, efe ai holl bobl, i ryfel yn Jahas.

2:32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.

2:33 Ond yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw ai rhoddes ef on blaen; ac m ai trawsom ef, ai feibion, ai holl bobl:

2:33 And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.

2:34 Ac a enillasom ei holl ddinasoedd ef yr amser hwnnw, ac a ddifrodasom bob dinas, yn wŷr, yn wragedd, yn blant; ac ni adawsom un yng ngweddill.

2:34 And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

2:35 Ond ysglyfaethasom yr anifeiliaid i ni, ac ysbail y dinasoedd y rhai a enillasom.

2:35 Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.

2:36 O Aroer, yr hon sydd ar fin afon Arnon, ac or ddinas sydd ar yr afon, a hyd at Gilead, ni bu ddinas ar a ddihangodd rhagom: yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw a roddes y cwbl on blaen ni.

2:36 From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:

2:37 Yn unig ni ddaethost i dir meibion Ammon, sef holl lan afon Jabboc, nac i ddinasoedd y mynydd, nac ir holl leoedd a waharddasai yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw i ni.

2:37 Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.

3:PENNOD 3

++PENNOD 3&&&

3:1 Yna y troesom, ac yr esgynasom ar hyd ffordd Basan; ac Og brenin Basan a ddaeth allan in cyfarfod ni, efe ai holl bobl, i ryfel, i Edrei.

3:1 Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

3:2 Ar ARGLWYDD a ddywedodd wrthyf, Nac ofna ef: oblegid yn dy law di y rhoddaf ef, ai holl bobl, ai wlad; a thi a wnei iddo fel y gwnaethost i Sehon brenin yr Amoriaid, yr hwn oedd yn trigo yn Hesbon.

3:2 And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

3:3 Felly yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw a roddes hefyd yn ein llaw ni Og brenin Basan, ai holl bobl; ac ni ai trawsom ef, hyd na adawyd iddo un yng ngweddill:

3:3 So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

3:4 Ac a enillasom ei holl ddinasoedd ef yr amser hwnnw, fel nad oedd ddinas nas dygasom oddi arnynt; trigain dinas, holl wlad Argob, brenhiniaeth Og o fewn Basan.

3:4 And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

3:5 Yr holl ddinasoedd hyn oedd gedyrn o furiau uchel, pyrth, a barrau, heblaw dinasoedd heb furiau lawer iawn.

3:5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.

3:6 A difrodasom hwynt, fel y gwnaethom i Sehon brenin Hesbon, gan ddifrodi o bob dinas y gwŷr, y gwragedd, ar plant.

3:6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

3:7 Ond yr holl anifeiliaid ac ysbail y dinasoedd a ysglyfaethasom i ni ein hunain.

3:7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.

3:8 A ni a gymerasom yr amser hwnnw o law dau frenin yr Amoriaid y wlad or tu yma ir Iorddonen, o afon Arnon hyd fynydd Hermon;

3:8 And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;

3:9 (Y Sidoniaid a alwant Hermon yn Sirion, ar Amoriaid ai galwant Senir;)

3:9 (Which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the Amorites call it Shenir;)

3:10 Holl ddinasoedd y gwastad, a holl Gilead, a holl Basan hyd Selcha ac Edrei, dinasoedd brenhiniaeth Og o fewn Basan.

3:10 All the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, unto Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

3:11 Oblegid Og brenin Basan yn unig a adawsid o weddill y cewri: wele, ei wely ef oedd wely haearn: onid yw hwnnw yn Rabbath meibion Ammon? naw cufydd oedd ei hyd, a phedwar cufydd ei led, wrth gufydd gŵr.

3:11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

3:12 Ar wlad hon a berchenogasom ni yr amser hwnnw, o Aroer yr hon sydd wrth afon Arnon, a hanner mynydd Gilead, ai ddinasoedd ef a roddais ir Reubeniaid ac ir Gadiaid.

3:12 And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites.

3:13 Ar gweddill o Gilead, a holl Basan, sef brenhiniaeth Og, a roddais i hanner llwyth Manasse; sef holl wlad Argob, a holl Basan, yr hon a elwid Gwlad y cewri.

3:13 And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.

3:14 Jair mab Manasse a gymerth holl wlad Argob, hyd fro Gesuri, a Maachathi; ac au galwodd hwynt ar ei enw ei hun, Basan Hafoth-Jair, hyd y dydd hwn.

3:14 Jair the son of Manasseh took all the country of Argob unto the coasts of Geshuri and Maachathi; and called them after his own name, Bashanhavothjair, unto this day.

3:15 Ac i Machir y rhoddais i Gilead.

3:15 And I gave Gilead unto Machir.

3:16 Ac ir Reubeniaid, ac ir Gadiaid, y rhoddais o Gilead hyd afon Arnon, hanner yr afon ar terfyn, a hyd yr afon Jabboc, terfyn meibion Ammon:

3:16 And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;

3:17 Hefyd y rhos, ar Iorddonen, ar terfyn o Cinnereth, hyd fr y rhos, sef y mr heli, dan Asdoth-Pisga, tuar dwyrain.

3:17 The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdothpisgah eastward.

3:18 Gorchmynnais hefyd i chwi yr amser hwnnw, gan ddywedyd, Yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw a roddes i chwi y wlad hon iw meddiannu: ewch drosodd yn arfog o flaen eich brodyr meibion Israel, pob rhai pybyr ohonoch.

3:18 And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.

3:19 Yn unig eich gwragedd, ach plant, ach anifeiliaid, (gwn fod llawer o anifeiliaid i chwi,) a drigant yn eich dinasoedd a roddais i chwi.

3:19 But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for I know that ye have much cattle,) shall abide in your cities which I have given you;

3:20 Hyd pan wnelor ARGLWYDD ich brodyr orffwyso fel chwithau, a meddiannu ohonynt hwythau y wlad y mae yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw yn ei rhoddi iddynt dros yr Iorddonen: yna dychwelwch bob un iw etifeddiaeth a roddais i chwi.

3:20 Until the LORD have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the LORD your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.

3:21 Gorchmynnais hefyd i Josua yr amser hwnnw, gan ddywedyd, Dy lygaid di a welsant yr hyn oll a wnaeth yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw ir ddau frenin hyn: felly y gwnar ARGLWYDD ir holl deyrnasoedd yr ydwyt ti yn myned drosodd atynt.

3:21 And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.

3:22 Nac ofnwch hwynt: oblegid yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw, efe a ymladd drosoch chwi.

3:22 Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.

3:23 Ac erfyniais ar yr ARGLWYDD yr amser hwnnw, gan ddywedyd,

3:23 And I besought the LORD at that time, saying,

3:24 O ARGLWYDD DDUW, tydi a ddechreuaist ddangos ith, was dy fawredd, ath law gadarn; oblegid pa DDUW sydd yn y nefoedd, neu ar y ddaear, yr hwn a weithreda yn l dy weithredoedd ath nerthoedd di?

3:24 O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to show thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

3:25 Gad i mi fyned drosodd, atolwg, a gweled y wlad dda sydd dros yr Iorddonen, ar mynydd da hwnnw, a Libanus.

3:25 I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.

3:26 Ond yr ARGLWYDD a ddigiasai wrthyf och plegid chwi, ac ni wrandawodd arnaf: ond dywedyd a wnaeth yr ARGLWYDD wrthyf, Digon yw hynny i ti, na chwanega lefaru wrthyf mwy am y peth hyn.

3:26 But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.

3:27 Dos i fyny i ben Pisga, a dyrchafa dy lygaid tuar gorllewin, ar gogledd, ar deau, ar dwyrain, ac edrych arni th lygaid: oblegid ni chei di fyned dros yr Iorddonen hon.

3:27 Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

3:28 Gorchymyn hefyd i Josua, a nertha a chadarnha ef: oblegid efe a drosodd o flaen y bobl yma, ac efe a ran iddynt yn etifeddiaeth y wlad yr hon a weli di.

3:28 But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

3:29 Felly aros a wnaethom yn y dyffryn gyferbyn Beth-peor.

3:29 So we abode in the valley over against Beth-peor.

PENNOD 4

++PENNOD 4&&&

4:1 Bellach gan hynny, O Israel, gwrando ar y deddfau ac ar y barnedigaethau yr ydwyf yn eu dysgu i chwi iw gwneuthur; fel y byddoch byw, ac yr eloch, ac y meddiannoch y wlad, y mae ARGLWYDD DDUW eich tadau yn ei rhoddi i chwi.

4:1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.

4:2 Na chwanegwch at y gair yr ydwyf yn ei orchymyn i chwi, ac na leihewch ddim ohono ef, gan gadw gorchmynion yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw, y rhai yr wyf fi yn eu gorchymyn i chwi.

4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

4:3 Eich llygaid chwi oedd yn gweled yr hyn a wnaeth yr ARGLWYDD am Baal-peor; oblegid pob gŵr ar a aeth ar l Baal-peor, yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW ai difethodd ef oth blith di.

4:3 Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baalpeor: for all the men that followed Baalpeor, the LORD thy God hath destroyed them from among you.

4:4 Ond chwi y rhai oeddech yn glynu wrth yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw, byw ydych heddiw oll.

4:4 But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every one of you this day.

4:5 Wele, dysgais i chwi ddeddfau a barnedigaethau, fel y gorchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD fy Nuw i mi; i wneuthur ohonoch felly, yn y wlad yr ydych ar fyned i mewn iddi iw meddiannu,

4:5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

4:6 Cedwch gan hynny, a gwnewch hwynt: oblegid hyn yw eich doethineb, ach deall chwi, yng ngolwg y bobloedd, y rhai a glywant yr holl ddeddfau hyn, ac a ddywedant, Yn ddiau pobl ddoeth a deallus yw y genedl fawr hon.

4:6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

4:7 Oblegid pa genedl mor fawr, yr hon y mae Duw iddi yn nesu ati, fel yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw ni, ym mhob dim ar
y galwom arno?

4:7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?

4:8 A pha genedl mor fawr, yr hon y mae iddi ddeddfau a barnedigaethau cyfiawn, megis yr holl gyfraith hon yr ydwyf fi yn ei rhoddi heddiw ger eich bron chwi?

4:8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

4:9 Ond gochel arnat, a chadw dy enaid yn ddyfal, rhag anghofio ohonot y pethau a welodd dy lygaid, a chilio ohonynt allan oth galon di holl ddyddiau dy einioes; and hysbysa hwynt ith feibion, ac i feibion dy feibion:

4:9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

4:10 Sef y dydd y sefaist gerbron yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yn Horeb, pan ddywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthyf, Cynnull i mi y bobl, fel y gwnelwyf iddynt glywed fy ngeiriau, y rhai a ddysgant im hofni i, yr holl ddyddiau y byddont fyw ar y ddaear, ac y dysgont hwynt iw meibion,

4:10 Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

4:11 A nesasoch, a safasoch dan y myn ydd; ar mynydd oedd yn llosgi gan dn hyd entrych awyr, yn dywyllwch, a chwmwl, a thywyllwch dudew.

4:11 And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

4:12 Ar ARGLWYDD a lefarodd wrthych o ganol y tn, a chwi a glywsoch lais y geiriau, ac nid oeddech yn gweled llun
dim, ond llais.

4:12 And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.

4:13 Ac efe a fynegodd i chwi ei gyfamod a orchmynnodd efe i chwi iw wneuthur, sef y dengair; ac au hysgrifennodd hwynt ar ddwy lech faen.

4:13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

4:14 Ar ARGLWYDD a orchmynnodd i i mi yr amser hwnnw ddysgu i chwi ddeddfau a barnedigaethau, i wneuthur ohonoch hwynt yn y wlad yr ydych chwi yn myned iddi iw meddiannu.

4:14 And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.

4:15 Gwyliwch gan hynny yn ddyfal ar eich eneidiau, (oblegid ni welsoch ddim llun yn y dydd y llefarodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthych yn Horeb, o ganol y tn,)

4:15 Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:

4:16 Rhag ymlygru ohonoch, a gwneuthur i chwi ddelw gerfiedig, cyffelybrwydd; un ddelw, llun gwryw neu fenyw,

4:16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

4:17 Llun un anifail ar sydd ar y ddaear, llun un aderyn asgellog: a eheda yn yr
awyr,

4:17 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,

4:18 Llun un ynriusgiad ar y ddaear, llun un pysgodyn ar y sydd yn y dyfroedd dan y ddaear;

4:18 The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:

4:19 Hefyd rhag dyrchafu ohonot dy lygaid tuar nefoedd, a gweled yr haul, ar lleuad, ar sr, sef holl lu y nefoedd, ath yrru di i ymgrymu iddynt, a gwasanaethu ohonot hwynt, y rhai a rannodd yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW ir holl bobloedd dan yr holl nefoedd.

4:19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

4:20 Ond yr ARGLWYDD ach cymerodd chwi, ac ach dug chwi allan or pair haearn, or Aifft, i fod iddo ef yn bobl, yn etifeddiaeth; fel y gwelir y dydd hwn.

4:20 But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.

4:21 Ar ARGLWYDD a ddigiodd wrthyf am eich geiriau chwi, ac a dyngodd nad awn i dros yr Iorddonen, ac na chawn fyned i mewn ir wlad dda, yr hon y mae yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yn ei rhoddi i ti
yn etifeddiaeth.

4:21 Furthermore the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and sware that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that good land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance:

4:22 Oblegid byddaf farw yn y wlad hon; ni chaf fi fyned dros yr Iorddonen: ond chwychwi a ewch drosodd, ac a feddiennwch y wlad dda honno.

4:22 But I must die in this land, I must not go over Jordan: but ye shall go over, and possess that good land.

4:23 Ymgedwch arnoch rhag anghofio cyfamod yr ARGLWYDD eich, Duw, yr hwn a amododd efe a chwi, a gwneuthur ohonoch i chwi ddelw gerfiedig, llun dim oll a waharddodd yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW i ti.

4:23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.

4:24 Oblegid yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW sydd dn ysol, a Duw eiddigus.

4:24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

4:25 Pan genhedlych feibion, ac wyrioni a hir drigo ohonoch yn y wlad, ac ymlygru ohonoch, a gwneuthur ohonoch ddelw gerfiedig, llun dim, a gwneuthur drygioni yng ngolwg yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW iw ddigio ef;

4:25 When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:

4:26 Galw yr ydwyf yn dystion yn eich erbyn chwi heddiw y nefoedd ar ddaear, gan ddarfod y derfydd amdanoch yn fuan; oddi ar y tir yr ydych yn myned dros yr Iorddonen iddo iw feddiannu: nid estynnwch ddyddiau ynddo, ond gan ddifetha ych difethir.

4:26 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.

4:27 Ar ARGLWYDD ach gwasgara chwi ymhlith y bobloedd, a chwi a adewir yn ddynion anaml ymysg y cenhedloedd, y rhai y dwg yr ARGLWYDD chwi atynt:

4:27 And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.

4:28 Ac yno y gwasanaethwch dduwiau. o waith dwylo dyn, sef pren a maen, y rhai ni welant, ac ni chlywant, ac ni fwytnt, ac nid aroglant.

4:28 And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.

4:29 Os oddi yno y ceisi yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, ti ai cei ef, os ceisi ef th holl galon, ac th holl enaid.

4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

4:30 Pan gyfyngo arnat, a digwyddo yr holl bethau hyn i ti, yn y dyddiau diwethaf, os dychweli at yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, a gwrando ar ei lais ef:

4:30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;

4:31 (Oherwydd yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW sydd DDUW trugarog;) ni edy efe di, ac nith ddifetha, ac nid anghofia gyfamodi dy dadau, yr hwn a dyngodd efe wrthynt.

4:31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

4:32 Canys ymofyn yn awr am y dyddiau gynt, a fu oth flaen di, or dydd y creodd Duw ddyn ar y ddaear, ac or naill gwr ir nefoedd hyd y cwr arall ir nefoedd, a fu megis y mawrbeth hwn, neu a glybuwyd ei gyffelyb ef:

4:32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?

4:33 A glybu pobl lais Duw yn llefaru o ganol y tn, fel y clywaist ti, a byw?

4:33 Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?

4:34 A brofodd un Duw ddyfod i gymryd iddo genedl o ganol cenedl, trwy brofedigraethau, trwy arwyddion, a thrwy ryfeddodau, a thrwy ryfel, a thrwy law gadarn, a thrwy fraich estynedig, a thrwy ofn mawr, fel yr hyn oll a wnaeth yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw eroch chwi yn yr Aifft yng ngŵydd dy lygaid?

4:34 Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

4:35 Gwnaethpwyd i ti weled hynny, i wybod mai yr ARGLWYDD sydd DDUW, nad oes neb arall ond efe.

4:40 Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.

4:45 These are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Moses spake unto the children of Israel, after they came forth out of Egypt,

4:46 Tu yma ir Iorddonen; yn y dyffryn ar gyfer Beth-peor, yng ngwlad Sehon brenin yr Amoriaid, yr hwn oedd yn trigo yn Hesbon, yr hwn a drawsai Moses a meibion Israel, wedi eu dyfod allan or Aifft:

4:46 On this side Jordan, in the valley over against Beth-peor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel smote, after they were come forth out of Egypt:

4:47 Ac a berchenogasant ei wlad ef, a gwlad Og brenin Basan, dau o frenhinoedd yr Amoriaid, y rhai oedd tu yma ir Iorddonen, tua chodiad haul,

4:47 And they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, which were on this side Jordan toward the sun rising;

4:48 O Aroer, yr hon oedd ar lan afon Arnon, hyd fynydd Seion, hwn yw Hermon;

5:1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.

5:2 Yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw a wnaeth gyfamod ni yn Horeb.

5:2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

5:3 Nid n tadau ni y gwnaeth yr ARGLWYDD y cyfamod hwn, ond nyni; nyni, y rhai ydym yn fyw bob un yma heddiw.

5:31 But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.

5:32 Edrychwch gan hynny am wneuthur fel y gorchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw i chwi: na chiliwch ir tu deau nac ir tu aswy.

7:25 The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.

26 Na ddwg dithau ffieidd-dra ith dŷ,. fel y byddech ysgymunbeth megis yntau: gan ddirmygu dirmyga ef, a chan ffieiddio ffieiddia ef: oblegid ysgymunbeth yw efe.

1 GWRANDO, Israel: Yr wyt ti yn myned heddiw dros yr Iorddonen hon, i fyned i mewn i berchenogi cenhedloedd mwy a chryfach na thi, dinasoedd mwy a chryfach na thi, dinasoedd mawrion a chaerog hyd y nefoedd;

9:1 Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven,

2 Pobl fawr ac uchel, meibion Anac, y rhai a adnabuost, ac y clywaist ti ddywedyd amdanynt, Pwy a saif o flaen meibion Anac?

9:2 A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of whom thou hast heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak!

3 Gwybydd gan hynny heddiw, fod yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yn myned trosodd oth flaen di yn dn ysol: efe au difetha hwynt, ac efe au darostwng hwynt oth flaen di: felly y gyrri hwynt ymaith, ac y difethi hwynt yn fuan, megis y llef-arodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthyt.

9:3 Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee.

4 Na ddywed yn dy galon, wedi gyrru or ARGLWYDD dy DDUW hwynt allan oth flaen di, gan ddywedyd. Am fy nghyfiawnder y dygodd yr ARGLWYDD fi i feddiannur tir hwn: ond am annuwioldeb y cenhedloedd hyn, y gyrrodd yr ARGLWYDD hwynt allan oth flaen di.

9:4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.

5 Nid am dy gyfiawnder di, nac am uniondeb dy galon, yr wyt ti yn myned i feddiannu eu tir hwynt: ond am annuw-loldeb y cenhedloedd hyn y bwrw yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW hwynt allan oth flaen di, ac er cyflawnir gair a dyngodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth dy dadau, wrth Abraham, wrth Isaac, ac wrth Jacob.

9:5 Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

6 Gwybydd dithau, nad am dy gyfiawnder dy hun y rhoddes yr ARGLWYDD i ti y tir daionus hwn iw feddiannu: canys pobl wargaled ydych.

9:6 Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.

7 Meddwl, ac nac anghofia pa fodd y digiaist yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yn yr anialwch: or dydd y daethost allan o dir yr Aifft, hyd eich dyfod ir lle hwn, gwrthryfelgar fuoch yn erbyn yr ARGLWYDD.

9:7 Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.

8 Yn Horeb hefyd y digiasoch yr ARGLWYDD; a digiodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthych, ich difetha.

9:8 Also in Horeb ye provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you.

9 Pan euthum i fyny ir mynydd i gymryd y llechau meini, sef llechau y cyfamod, yr hwn a wnaeth yr ARGLWYDD a chwi; yna yr arhoais yn y mynydd ddeugain niwrnod a deugain nos: bara ni fwyteais, a dwfr nid yfais.

9:9 When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:

10 A rhoddes yr ARGLWYDD ataf y ddwy lech faen, wedi eu hysgrifennu a bys Duw; ac arnynt yr oedd yn l yr holl eiriau a lefarodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthych yn y mynydd, o ganol y tn, ar ddydd y gymanfa.

9:10 And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.

11 A bu, ymhen y deugain niwrnod ar deugain nos, roddi or ARGLWYDD ataf y ddwy lech faen; sef llechau y cyfamod.

9:11 And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant.

12 A dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthyf, Cyfod, dos oddi yma i waered yn fuan: canys ymlygrodd dy bobl, y rhai a ddygaist allan or Aifft: ciliasant yn ebrwydd or ffordd a orchmynnais iddynt; gwnaethant iddynt eu hun ddelw dawdd.

9:12 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.

13 A llefarodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthyf, gan ddywedyd, Gwelais y bobl hyn; ac wele, pobl wargaled ydynt.

9:13 Furthermore the LORD spake unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

14 Paid a mi, a mi au distrywiaf hwynt, ac a ddileaf eu henw hwynt oddi tan y nefoedd; ac ath wnaf di yn genedl gryf-ach, ac amlach na hwynt-hwy.

9:14 Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they.

15 A mi a ddychwelais, ac a ddeuthum i waered or mynydd, ar mynydd ydoedd yn llosgi gan dan; a dwy lech y cyfamod oedd yn fy nwylo.

9:15 So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with fire: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands.

16 Edrychais hefyd; ac wele, pechasech yn erbyn yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw: gwnaethech i chwi lo tawdd: ciliasech yn fuan or ffordd a orchmynasai yr ARGLWYDD i chwi.

9:16 And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had commanded you.

17 A mi a ymeflais yn y ddwy lech, ac au teflais hwynt om dwylo, ac au torrais hwynt o flaen eich llygaid.

9:17 And I took the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and brake them before your eyes.

18 A syrthiais gerbron yr ARGLWYDD, fel y waith gyntaf, ddeugain niwrnod a deugain nos; ni fwyteais fara, ac nid yfais ddwfr: oherwydd eich holl bechodau chwi y rhai a bechasech, gan wneuthur drygioni yng ngolwg yr ARGLWYDD iw ddigio ef.

9:18 And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

19 (Canys ofnais rhag y sonant ar dig, trwy y rhai y digiodd yr ARGLWYDD ftTthych, ich dinistrio chwi.) Eto gwrandawodd yr ARGLWYDD arnaf y waith honno hefyd.

9:19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.

20 Wrth Aaron hefyd y digiodd yr ARGLWYDD yn fawr, iw ddifetha ef: a mi a weddais hefyd dros Aaron y waith faonno.

9:20 And the LORD was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time.

21 Eich pechod chwi hefyd yr hwn a iroaethoch, sef y llo, a gymerais, ac ai Hosgais yn tn; curais ef hefyd, gan ei falurio yn dda, nes ei falu yn llwch: a bwriais ei lwch ef ir afon oedd yn disgyn OT mynydd.

9:21 And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.

32 O fewn Tabera hefyd, ac o fewn Massa, ac o fewn Beddaur blys, yr oeddech yn digior ARGLWYDD.

9:22 And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibrothhattaavah, ye provoked the LORD to wrath.

33 A phan anfonodd yr ARGLWYDD chwi o Cades-Barnea, gan ddywedyd, Ewch i fyny, a meddiennwch y tir yr hwn a roddais i chwi, yr anufuddhasoch i .air yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw: ni chredasoch hefyd iddo, ac ni wrandawsoch ar ei lais ef.

9:23 Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice.

24 Gwrthryfelgar fuoch yn erbyn yr ARGLWYDD er y dydd yr adnabm chwi.

9:24 Ye have been rebellious against the LORD from the day that I knew you.

25 A mi a syrthiais gerbron yr ARGLWYDD ddeugain niwrnod a deugain nos, fel y syrthiaswn or blaen; am ddywedyd or ARGLWYDD y difethai chwi.

9:25 Thus I fell down before the LORD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the LORD had said he would destroy you.

26 Gweddais hefyd ar yr ARGLWYDD, a idywedais, ARGLWYDD DDUW, na ddi-felha dy bobl, ath etifeddiaeth a waredaist yn dy fawredd, yr hwn a ddygaist allan or Aifft a llaw gref.

9:26 I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

27 Cofia dy weision, Abraham, Isaac, a Jacob, nac edrych ar galedrwydd y bobl hyn, nac ar eu drygioni, nac ar eu pechod:

9:27 Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:

28 Rhag dywedyd or wlad y dygaist ni allan ohoni, O eisiau gallu or ARGLWYDD eu dwyn hwyct ir tir a addawsai efe
iddynt, ac oi gas arnynt, y dug efe hwynt allan, iw lladd yn yr anialwch.

9:28 Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.

29 Eto dy bobl di ath etifeddiaeth ydynt hwy, y rhai a ddygaist allan yn dy fawr nerth, ac ath estynedig fraich.

8 Yr amser hwnnw y neilltuodd yr ARGLWYDD lwyth Lefi, i ddwyn arch cyfamod yr ARGLWYDD, i sefyll gerbron yr ARGLWYDD, iw wasanaethu ef, ac i fendigo yn ei enw ef, hyd y dydd hwn.

10:8 At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

9 Am hynny ni bydd rhan i Lefi, nac etifeddiaeth gydai frodyr: yr ARGLWYDD yw ei etifeddiaeth ef; megis y dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW wrtho ef.

10:9 Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.

10:10 And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also, and the LORD would not destroy thee.

11 A dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthyf, Cyfod, dos ith daith o flaen y bobl; fel yr elont i mewn ac y meddiannont y tir, yr hwn a dyngais wrth eu tadau ar ei toddi iddynt.

10:11 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.

12 Ac yr awr hon, Israel, beth y mae yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yn ei ofyil gennyt, ond ofni yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, a rhodio yn ei holl ffyrdd, ai garu ef, a. gwasanaethu yr ARGLWYDD dy DDOW th holl galon, ac th holl enaid,

10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

13 Cadw gorchmynion yr ARGLWYDD, ai ddeddfau, y rhai yr wyf yn eu gorchymyn i ti y dydd hwn, er daioni i ti?

10:13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

14 Wele, y nefoedd, a nefoedd y MSoedd, ydynt eiddo yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, y ddaear hefyd ar hyn oll sydd ynddi.

10:14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.

15 Yn unig ar dy dadau di y rhoddes yr ARGLWYDD ei serch, gan eu horn hwynt; ac efe a wnaeth ddewis ou had ar eu hl hwynt, sef ohonoch chwi, o flaen yr holl bobloedd, megis heddiw y gwelir.

10:15 Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

16 Enwaedwch chwithau ddienwaediad eich calon, ac na chaledwch eich gwar nawyach.

10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

17 Canys yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw chwi yw Duw y duwiau, ac Arglwydd yr arglwyddi, Duw mawr, cadarn, ac ofa-adwy, yr hwn ni dderbyn wyneb, ac ta chymer wobr.

10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

18 Yr hwn a farnar amddifad ar weddw; ac y sydd yn hoffir dieithr, gan roddi iddo fwyd a dillad.

10:18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

19 Hoffwch chwithau y dieithr: canyS dieithriaid fuoch yn nhir yr Aifft.

10:19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

20 Yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW a ofai, ac ef a wasanaethi: wrtho ef hefyd y glyni, ac iw enw ef y tyngi.

10:20 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.

21 Efe yw dy fawl, ac efe yw dy Dotw yr hwn a wnaeth i ti y mawrion a ofnadwy bethau hyn, y rhai a welodd dy lygaid.

10:21 He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.

22 Dy dadau a aethant i waered i*r Aifft yn ddeg enaid a thrigain; ac yr awr hon yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW ath wnaelh di fel sr y nefoedd o luosowgrwydd.
PENNOD 11

10:22 Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.

++PENNOD 11&&&

1 cr dithau yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, a chadw ei gadwraeth ef, at ddeddfau, ai farnedigaethau, ai orchmynioa, byth.

11:1 Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

2 A chydnabyddwch heddiw: canys nid wyf yn ymddiddan ch plant, y rhai nM adnabuant, ac ni welsant gerydd yr ARGLWYDD efch Duw chwi, ei fawredd, ei law gref, ai fraich estynedig;

11:2 And know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,

3 Ei arwyddion hefyd, ai weithredoeddj y rhai a wnaeth efe yng nghanol yr Aifft, i Pharo brenin yr Aifft, ac iw holl dir;

11:3 And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;

4 Ar hyn a wnaeth efe i lu yr Aifft, iw feirch ef, ac iw gerbydau; y modd y gwnaeth efe i ddyfroedd y mr coch lenwi dros eu hwynebau hwynt, pan oeddynt yn ymlid ar eich l, ac y difethodd yr ARGLWYDD hwynt, hyd y dydd hwn:

11:4 And what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;

5 Ar hyn a wnaeth efe i chwi yn yr anialwch, nes eich dyfod ir lle hwn;

11:5 And what he did unto you in the wilderness, until ye came into this place;

6 Ar hyn a wnaeth efe i Dathan, ac i Abiram, meibion Eliab, mab Reuben; y modd yr agorodd y ddaear ei safn, ac aa llyncodd hwynt, au teuluoedd, au pebyll, ar holl olud oedd ganddynt, ymysg holl Israel.

11:6 And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:

7 Eithr eich llygaid chwi oedd ytt gweled holl fawrion weithredoedd yr ARGLWYDD, y rhai a wnaeth efe.

11:7 But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.

8 Cedwch chwithau bob gorchymyn yr ydwyf fi yn ei orchymyn i chwi heddiw; fel y byddoch gryfion, ac yr eloch i mewn, ac y meddiannoch y tir yr ydych yn myned trosodd iddo iw feddiannu:

11:8 Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;

9 Ac fel yr estynnodi ddyddiau yn y tir yr hwn a dyngodd yr ARGLWYDD idh tadau, ar ei roddi iddynt, ac iw had; sef tir yn llifeirio o laeth a ml.

11:9 And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

10 1 Oherwydd y tir yr wyt yn myned iddo iw feddiannu, nid fel tir yr Aifft y mae, yr hwn y daethoch allan ohono, lle yr heuaist dy had, ac y dyfrheaist ath droed, fel gardd lysiau:

11:10 For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs:

11 Ond y tir yr ydych yn myned trosodd iddo iw feddiannu, sydd fynydd-dir, a dyffryndir, yn yfed dwfr o law y nefoedd 5

11:11 But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:

12 Tir yw, yr hwn y mae yr ARGLWYDB dy DDUW yn ei ymgeleddu: llygaid yr" ARGLWYDB dy DDUW sydd bob amser arno, o ddechreuad y flwyddyn hyd ddi-wedd y flwyddyn hefyd.

11:12 A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

13 A bydd, os gan wrando y gwrandewch ar fy ngorchmynion, y rhai yr ydwyfyn eu gorchymyn i chwi heddiw, i garu yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw, ac iw wasanaethu, ach holl galon, ac ach holl enaid;

11:13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

14 Yna y rhoddaf law ich tir yn ei amser, sef y cynnar-law, ar diweddar-law; fel y casglech dy ŷd, ath win, ath olew;

11:14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

15 A rhoddaf laswellt yn dy faes, ith anifeiliaid; fel y bwytaech, ac yth ddigoner.

11:15 And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.

16 Gwyliwch arnoch rhag twyllo eich calon, a chilio ohonoch, a gwasanaethu duwiau dieithr, ac ymgrymu iddynt;

11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

17 Ac enynnu dicllonedd yr ARGLWYDD ich erbyn, a chau ohono ef y nefoedd, fel na byddo glaw, ac na roddo y ddaear ei chnwd, ach difetha yn fuan or tir yr hwn y mae yr ARGLWYDD yn ei roddi i chwi.

11:17 And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.

18 Am hynny gosodwch fy ngeiriau hyn yn eich calon, ac yn eich meddwl, a rhwymwch hwynt yn arwydd ar eich dwylo, a byddant yn rhactalau rhwng eich llygaid:

11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

19 A dysgwch hwynt ich plant; gan grybwyll amdanynt pan eisteddych yn dy dŷ, a phan rodiech ar y ffordd, pan orweddych hefyd, a phan godych.

11:19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

20 Ac ysgrifenna hwynt ar byst dy dŷ, ac ar dy byrth;

11:20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:

31 Fel yr amlhao eich dyddiau chwi, a dyddiau eich plant chwi, ar y ddaear yr hon a dyngodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth eich tadau am ei rhoddi iddynt, fel dyddiau y nefoedd ar y ddaear.

11:21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

22 Canys os gan gadw y cedwch yr holl orchmynion hyn, y rhai yr ydwyf fi yn eu gorchymyn i chwi iw gwneuthur, i garu yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw, i rodio yn ei holl ffyrdd ef, ac i lynu wrtho ef;

11:22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

23 Yna y gyr yr ARGLWYDD allan yr holl genhedloedd hyn och blaen chwi, a chwi a feddiennwch genhedloedd mwy a chryfach na chwi.

11:23 Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.

24 Pob man y sathro gwadn eich troed

11:24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.

25 Ni saif gŵr yn eich wyneb: eich arswyd ach ofn a rydd yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw ar wyneb yr holl dir yr hwn y sathroch arno, megis y llefarodd wrthych.

11:25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you.

26 Wele, rhoddi yr ydwyf fi och blaen chwi heddiw fendith a melltith:

11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

27 Bendith, os gwrandewch ar orchmynion yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw, y rhai yr ydwyf fi yn eu gorchymyn i chwi heddiw;

11:27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

28 A melltith, oni wrandewch ar orchmynion yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw, ond cilio ohonoch allan or nbrdd yr ydwyf fi yn ei gorchymyn i chwi heddiw, i fyned ar l duwiau dieithr, y rhai nid adna-buoch.

11:28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

29 Bydded gan hynny, pan ddygo yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW di ir tir yr ydwyt yn myned iddo iw feddiannu, roddi ohonot y fendith ar fynydd Garisim, ar felltith ar fynydd Ebal.

11:29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

30 Onid yw y rhai hyn or tu hwnt ir Iorddonen, tuar lle y machludar haul, yn nhir y Canaaneaid, yr hwn sydd yn trigo yn y rhos ar gyfer Gilgal, gerllaw gwastadedd More?

11:30 Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?

31 Canys myned yr ydych dros yr Iorddonen, i fyned i feddiannur tir y mae yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw yn ei roddi i chwi; a chwi ai meddiennwch ac a breswyliwch ynddo.

11:31 For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.

32 Gwyliwch chwithau am wneuthur yr holl ddeddfau ar barnedigaethau, y rhai yr ydwyf fi yn eu rhoddi och blaen chwi heddiw.

11:32 And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.

PENNOD 12

++PENNOD 12&&&

1 DYMAr deddfau ar barnedigaethau, y rhai a wyliwch ar eu gwneuthur, yn y tir a rydd ARGLWYDD DDUW dy dadau i ti iw feddiannu, yr holl ddyddiau y byddoch fyw ar y ddaear.

12:1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.

2 Gan ddinistrio dinistriwch yr holl fannau, y rhai y gwasanaethodd y cenhedloedd yr ydych chwi yn eu meddiannu eu duwiau ynddynt, ar y mynyddoedd uchel, ac ar y bryniau, a than bob pren gwyrddlas.

12:2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:

3 Drylliwch hefyd eu hallorau hwynt, a thorrwch eu colofnau hwynt, a llosgwch eu llwynau hwynt a than, a thorrwch gerfiedig ddelwau eu duwiau hwynt, a dinistriwch eu henwau hwynt or lle hwnnw. .

12:3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

4 Na wnewch felly ir ARGLWYDD etch Duw.

12:4 Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.

5 Ond y lle a ddewiso yr ARGLWYDB eich Duw och holl lwythau chwi, i osodt ei enw yno, ei drigfa ef a geisiwch, ac yno y deuwch:

12:5 But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:

6 A dygwch yno eich poethoffrymau, ach aberthau, ach degymau, ac offrwm dyrchafael eich llaw, eich addunedau hefyd, ach offrymau gwirfodd, a chyntaf-anedig eich gwartheg ach defaid.

12:6 And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:

7 A bwytewch yno gerbron yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw, a llawenhewch ym mhob dim y rhoddoch eich llaw arno, chwychwi ach teuluoedd, yn yr hyn yth fendithiodd yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW.

12:7 And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

8 Na wnewch yn l yr hyn oll yr ydym ni yn ei wneuthur yma heddiw, pob un yr hyn fyddo uniawn yn ei olwg ei hun.

12:8 Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.

9 Canys ni ddaethoch hyd yn hyn ir orffwysfa, ac ir etifeddiaeth, yr hon y mae yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yn ei rhoddi iti.

12:9 For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.

10 Ond pan eloch dros yr Iorddonen, a thrigo yn y tir yr hwn y mae yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw yn ei roddi yn etifeddiaeth i chwi, a phan roddo lonydd i chwi oddi wrth eich holl elynion o amgylch, fel y preswylioch yn ddiogel:

12:10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;

11 Yna y bydd lle wedi ir ARGLWYDD eich Duw ei ddewis iddo, i beri iw enw aros ynddo; yno y dygwch yr hyn oll yr ydwyf fi yn ei orchymyn i chwi; sef eich poethoffrymau, ach aberthau, eich degymau, a dyrchafael-offrwm eich llaw, ach holl ddewis addunedau, y rhai a addunedoch ir ARGLWYDD.

12:11 Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:

12 A llawenhewch gerbron yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw; chwi, ach meibion, ach merched, ach gweision, ach morynion, ar Lefiad a fyddo yn eich pyrth
chwi; canys nid oes iddo ran nac ed feddiaeth gyda chwi.,

12:12 And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.

13 Gwylia arnat rhag poethonrymu ohonot dy boethoffrymau ym mhob lle ar a welych:

12:13 Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:

14 Ond yn y lle a ddewiso yr ARGLWYDD o fewn un oth lwythau di, yno yr offrymi dy boethoffrymau, ac y gwnei yr hyn oll yr ydwyf fi yn ei orchymyn i ti.

12:14 But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.

15 Er hynny ti a gei ladd bwyta cig yn l holl ddymuniant dy galon, yn l beadith yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, yr hon a rydd efe i ti, yn dy holl byrth: yr aflan ar gln a fwyty ohono, megis or iwrch ar carw.

12:15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.

16 Ond na fwytewch y gwaed; ar y ddaear y tywelltwch ef fel dwfr.

12:16 Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.

17 xxx Ni elli fwyta o fewn dy byrth. ddegfed dy ŷd, nath win, nath olew, na chyntaf-anedig dy wartheg, nath ddefaid, nath holl addunedau y rhai a addunech, nath offrymau gwirfodd, na dyrchafael-offrwm dy law:

12:17 Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:

18 Ond o flaen yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW y bwytei hwynt, yn y lle a ddewiso yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW; ti, ath fab, ath ferch, ath was, ath forwyn, ar Lefiad a fyddo yn dy byrth di: llawenycha gerbron yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yn yr hyn oll yr estynnech dy law arno.

12:18 But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.

19 Gwylia arnat rhag gadael y Lefiad, tra fyddech byw ar y ddaear.

12:19 Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.

20 Pan helaetho yr ARGLWYDD dy BDUW dy derfyn di, megis y dywedodd wrthyt, os dywedi, Bwytaf gig, (pan ddymuno dy galon fwyta cig,) yn l holl ddymuniad dy galon y bwytei gig.

12:20 When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

21 Os y lle a ddewisodd yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW i roddi ei enw ynddo, fydd pell oddi wrthyt; yna lladd oth wartheg, ac oth ddefaid, y rhai a roddodd yr ARGLWYDD i ti, megis y gorchmynnais i ti, a bwyta o fewn dy byrth wrth holl ddymuniad dy galon.

12:21 If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

22 Eto fel y bwyteir yr iwrch ar carw, felly y bwytei ef: yr aflan ar gln ai bwyty yn yr un ffunud.

12:22 Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.

23 Yn unig bydd sier na fwytaech y gwaed: canys y gwaed yw yr einioes; ac ni chei fwyta yr einioes ynghyd r cig. -

12:23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.

24 Na fwyta (if,, ar y ddaear y tyweliti ef fel dwfr.

12:24 Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.

25 Na fwyta ef; fel y byddo daioni i ti, ac Ith feibion ar dy l, pan wnelych yr uniawn yng ngolwg yr ARGLWYDD.

12:25 Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.

26 Eto cymer dy gysegredig bethau y rhai sydd gennyt, ath addunedau, a xxxxthyred ir lle a ddewiso yr ARGLWYDD.

12:26 Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose.

27 Ac offryma dy boethoffrwm, (y cig ar gwaed,) ar allor yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW: a gwaed dy aberthau a dywelltir wrth allor yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW; ar cig a fwytei di.

12:27 And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.

16:5 Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee:

6 Ond yn y lle a ddewiso yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW i drigo oi enw ef ynddo; yno yr aberthi y Pasg yn yr hwyr, ar fach-ludiad haul, y pryd y daethost allan or Aifft.

16:6 But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.

7 Yna y rhosti, ac y bwytei ef, yn y lle a ddewiso yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW: ar bore y dychweli, ac yr ei ith babellau.

16:7 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.

8 Chwe diwrnod y bwytei fara croyw: ac ar y seithfed dydd y mae uchel ŵyl ir ARGLWYDD dy DDUW; ni chei wneuthur gwaith ynddo.

16:8 Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.

9 Cyfrif i ti saith wythnos: pan ddechreuor cryman ar yr ŷd, y dechreui rifor saith wythnos.

16:9 Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.

10 A chadw ŵyl yr wythnosau ir ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, ag offrwm gwirfodd dy law, yr hwn a roddi, megis yth fendithio yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW.

16:10 And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:

11 A llawenycha gerbron yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, ti, ath fab, ath ferch, ath was, ath forwyn, ar Lefiad a fyddo o fewn dy byrth, ar dieithr, ar amddifad, ar weddw, sydd yn dy fysg, yn y lle a ddewiso yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW i drigo oi enw ef ynddo.

16:11 And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.

12 Cofia hefyd mai caethwas fuost yn yr Aifft: a chadw a gwna y deddfau hyn.

16:12 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.

13 Cadw i ti ŵyl y pebyll saith niwrnod, wedi i ti gasglu dy ŷd ath win.

16:13 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:

14 A llawenycha yn dy ŵyl, ti, ath fab, ath ferch, ath was, ath forwyn, ar Lefiad, ar dieithr, ar amddifad, ar weddw, y rhai fyddant o fewn dy byrth.

16:14 And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.

15 Saith niwrnod y cedwi ŵyl ir ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, yn y lle a ddewiso yr ARGLWYDD: canys yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW ath fendithia yn dy holl gnwd, ac yn holl waith dy ddwylo; am hynny bydd dithau lawen.

16:15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.

16 Tair gwaith yn y flwyddyn yr ymddengys pob gwryw ohonot o flaen yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, yn y lle a ddewiso efe; ar ŵyl y bara croyw, ac ar ŵyl yr wythnosau, ac ar ŵyl y pebyll: ond nac ymddangosed neb o flaen yr ARGLWYDD yn waglaw.

16:16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

17 Pob un yn l rhodd ei law, yn l bendith yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yr hon a roddes efe i ti.

16:17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.

18 Gwna i ti farnwyr a blaenorion yn dy holl byrth, y rhai y mae yx ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yn en rhoddi i d trwy Sty lwythaa, a teamant hwy y bobl a barn gyfiawn.

16:18 Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

19 Na wyra farn, ac na chydnebydd wynebau; na dderbyn wobr chwaith: canys gwobr a ddalla lygaid y doethion, ac a wyra eiriau y cyfiawn.

16:19 Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

20 Cyfiawnder, cyfiawnder a ddilynd; fel y byddych fyw, ac yr etifeddych y tir yr hwn y mae yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yn ei roddi i ti.

16:20 That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

21 Na phlanna i ti lwyn o neb rhyw goed gerilaw allor yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, yr hon a wnei i ti.

16:21 Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee.

22 Ac na chyfod i ti golofn; yr hyn sydd gas gan yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW.

16:22 Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.

++PENNOD 17&&&

1 NAC abertha ir ARGLWYDD dy DDUW ych neu ddafad y byddo arno anaf, neu ddim gwrthuni: canys casbeth yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW yw hynny.

17:1 Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the LORD thy God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavouredness: for that is an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

2 Pan gaffer yn dy blith di, o fewn un oth byrth y rhai y mae yr ARGLWYDD fly DDUW yn eu rhoddi i ti, ŵr neu wraig a wnaeth ddrygioni yng ngolwg yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, gan droseddu ei gyfamod ef,

17:2 If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant,

3 Ac a aeth ac a wasanaethodd dduwiau dieithr, ac a ymgrymodd iddynt, ir haul, aeu ir lleuad, neu i holl lu y nefoedd, yr hyn ni orchmynnais;

17:3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;

4 Pan ddangoser i ti, a chlywed ohonot, yna cais yn dda: ac wele, os gwirionedd yw, a bod yn sicr wneuthur y ffieidd-dra hyn yn Israel;

17:4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and inquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

5 Yna dwg allan y gŵr hwnnw, neu y wraig honno, a wnaethant y peth drygionus hyn, ith byrth, sef y gŵr neu y wraig, a llabyddia hwynt a meini, fel y byddont feirw.

17:5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.

6 Wrth dystiolaeth dau o dystion, neu flri o dystion, y rhoddir i farwolaeth yr hwn a fyddo marw: na redder ef i farwolaeth wrth dystiolaeth un tyst.

17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

7 Llaw y tystion a fydd arno yn gyntaf tw farwolaethu ef, a llaw yr holl bobl wedi hynny: a thi a dynni ymaith y flrwg oth blith.

17:7 The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.

8 Os bydd peth mewn baftn yn rhy galed i ti, rhwng gwaad a:gwaed, rhwng hawl a hawl, neu rhwng pla a phia, mewn pethau ymrafaelus o fewn dy byrtiti; yna cyfod, a dos i fyny ir lle addewiso yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW

17:8 If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose;

9 A dos at yr offeiriaid y Lefiaid, ac at y barnwr a fyddo yn y dyddiau hynny, ac ymofyn; a hwy a ddangosant i tf reol y farnedigaeth.

17:9 And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and inquire; and they shall show thee the sentence of judgment:

10 A gwna yn l rheol y gair a ddangosant i ti, or lle hwnnw a ddewiso yr ARGLWYDD; ac edrych am wneuthur yn l yr hyn oll a ddysgant i d.

17:10 And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the LORD shall choose shall show thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:

11 \fi l rheol y gyfraith a ddysgont i ti, ac yn l y tarn a ddywedont i ti, y gwnei: na chilia oddi wrth y peth a ddangosont i ti, ir tu deau nac ir tu aswy.

17:11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall show thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.

12 Ar gŵr a wnl mewn rhyfyg, heb wrando ar yr offeiriad sydd yn sefyll yno i wasanaethu yr ARGLWYDD dy DDUW, neu ar y barnwr; yna rhodder i farwolaeth y gŵr hwnnw: a thyn ymaith y drwg o Israel.

17:12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will
