PENNOD 1
1:1 Yn yr wythfed mis o'r ail flwyddyn i Dareius, y daeth gair yr
ARGLWYDD at Sechareia, mab Baracheia, mab Ido y proffwyd, gan ddywedyd,
1:1 In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came
the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the
prophet, saying,
1:2 Llwyr ddigiodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth eich
tadau.
1:2 The LORD
hath been sore displeased with your fathers.
1:3 Am hynny dywed wrthynt, Fel hyn y dywed
ARGLWYDD y lluoedd, Dychwelwch ataf fi, medd ARGLWYDD y lluoedd, a mi a
ddychwelaf atoch chwithau, medd ARGLWYDD y lluoedd.
1:3 Therefore
say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the
LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.
1:4 Na fyddwch fel eich tadau, y rhai y
galwodd y proffwydi o'r blaen arnynt, an ddywedyd, Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y
lluoedd; Dychwelwch yn awr oddi wrth eich ffyrdd drwg, ac oddi wrth eich
gweithredoedd drygionus: ond ni chlywent, ac ni wrandawent arnaf, medd yr
ARGLWYDD.
1:4 Be ye not
as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings:
but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.
1:5 Eich tadau, pa le y maent hwy? a'r
proffwydi, ydynt hwy yn fyw byth?
1:5 Your
fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?
1:6 Oni ddarfu er hynny i'm geiriau a'm
deddfau, y rhai a orchmynnais wrth fy ngweision y proffwydi, oddiwes eich
tadau? a hwy a ddychwelasant, ac a dywedasant, Megis y meddyliodd ARGLWYDD y
lluoedd wneuthur i ni, yn ôl ein ffyrdd, ac yn ôl ein gweithredoedd ein hun,
felly y gwnaeth efe â ni.
1:6 But my
words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not
take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of
hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our
doings, so hath he dealt with us.
1:7 Ar y pedwerydd dydd ar hugain o'r
unfed mis ar ddeg, hwnnw yw mis Sebat, o'r ail flwyddyn i Dareius, y daeth gair
yr ARGLWYDD at Sechareia, mab Baracheia, mab Ido y proffwyd, gan ddywedyd,
1:7 Upon the
four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the
second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of
Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
1:8 Gwelais noswaith; ac wele w^r yn
marchogaeth ar farch coch, ac yr oedd efe yn sefyll rhwng y myrtwydd y rhai
oedd yn y pant; ac o'i ôl ef feirch cochion, brithion, a gwynion.
1:8 I saw by
night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle
trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled,
and white.
1:9 Yna y dywedais, Beth yw y rhai hyn,
fy arglwydd? A dywedodd yr angel oedd yn ymddiddan â mi wrthyf, Mi a ddangosaf
i ti beth yw y rhai hyn.
1:9 Then said
I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I
will show thee what these be.
1:10 And the
man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom
the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
1:11 A hwythau a atebasant angel yr
ARGLWYDD, yr hwn oedd yn sefyll rhwng y coed myrt, ac a ddywedasant, Rhodiasom
trwy y ddaear; ac wele yr holl ddaear yn eistedd, ac yn llonydd.
1:11 And they
answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We
have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth
still, and is at rest.
1:12 Ac angel yr ARGLWYDD a atebodd ac a
ddywedodd, O ARGLWYDD y lluoedd, pa hyd na thrugarhei wrth Jerwsalem, a
dinasoedd Jwda, wrth y rhai y digiaist y deng mlynedd a thrigain hyn?
1:12 Then the
angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not
have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had
indignation these threescore and ten years?
1:14 A'r angel yr hwn oedd yn ymddiddan â
mi a ddywedodd wrthyf, Gwaedda, gan ddywedyd, Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y
lluoedd; Deliais eiddigedd mawr dros Jerwsalem a thros Seion:
1:14 So the
angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD
of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
PENNOD 2
2:1 Dyrchefais fy llygaid drachefn, ac edrychais; ac wele w^r, ac yn
ei law linyn mesur.
2:1 I lifted up
mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his
hand.
2:2 A dywedais, I ba le yr ei di? Ac efe
a ddywedodd wrthyf, I fesuro Jerwsalem, i weled beth yw ei lled hi, a pheth yw
ei hyd hi.
2:2 Then said
I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure
2:3 Ac wele yr angel a oedd yn ymddiddan
â mi yn myned allan, ac angel arall yn myned allan i'w gyfarfod ef.
2:3 And, behold,
the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet
him,
2:4 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrtho, Rhed,
llefara wrth y llanc hwn, gan ddywedyd Jerwsalem a gyfanheddir fel maestrefi
rhag amled dyn ac anifail o'i mewn.
2:4 And said unto
him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as
towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
2:5 Canys byddaf iddi yn fur o dân o
amgylch, medd yr ARGLWYDD, a byddaf yn ogoniant yn ei chanol.
2:5 For I, saith
the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in
the midst of her.
2:6 Ho, ho, deuwch allan, a ffowch o wlad
y gogledd, medd yr ARGLWYDD: canys taenais chwi fel pedwar gwynt y nefoedd,
medd yr ARGLWYDD.
2:6 Ho, ho, come
forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread
you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.
2:7 O Seion, ymachub, yr hon wyt yn
preswylio gyda merch Babilon.
2:7 Deliver
thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of
2:8 Canys fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y
lluoedd; Ar ôl y gogoniant y'm hanfonodd at y cenhedloedd y rhai a'ch
ysbeiliasant chwi: canys a gyffyrddo â chwi, sydd yn cyffwrdd â channwyll ei
lygad ef.
2:8 For thus
saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which
spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
2:9 Canys wele fi yn ysgwyd fy llaw
arnynt, a byddant yn ysglyfaeth i'w gweision: a chânt wybod mai ARGLWYDD y
lluoedd a'm hanfonodd.
2:9 For,
behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their
servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.
PENNOD 3
3:1 Ac efe a ddangosodd i mi Josua yr archoffeiriad yn sefyll gerbron
angel yr yr ARGLWYDD, a Satan yn sefyll ar ei ddeheulaw ef i'w wrthwynebu ef.
3:1 And he
showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and
Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
3:2 A'r ARGLWYDD a ddywedodd wrth Satan, Cerydded
yr ARGLWYDD dydi, Satan; sef yr ARGLWYDD yr hwn a ddewisodd Jerwsalem, a'th
geryddo: onid pentewyn yw hwn wedi ei achub o'r tân?
3:2 And the
LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath
chosen
3:3 A Josua ydoedd wedi ei wisgo â dillad
budron, ac yn sefyll yng ngw^ydd yr angel.
3:3 Now Joshua
was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
3:4 Ac efe a atebodd, ac a ddywedodd wrth
y rhai oedd yn sefyll ger ei fron, gan ddywedyd, Cymerwch ymaith y dillad
budron oddi amdano ef. Wrtho yntau y dywedodd, Wele, symudais dy anwiredd i
iddi wrthyt, a gwisgaf di hefyd â newid dillad.
3:4 And he
answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the
filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine
iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
3:5 A dywedais hefyd, Rhoddant feitr teg
ar ei ben ef: a rhoddasant feitr teg ar ei ben ef, ac a'i gwisgasant aâ dillad;
ac angel yr ARGLWYDD oedd yn sefyll gerllaw.
3:5 And I said,
Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his
head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
3:6 Ac angel yr ARGLWYDD a dystiolaethodd
wrth Josua, gan ddywedyd,
3:6 And the
angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
3:7 Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y lluoedd;
Os rhodi di yn fy ffyrdd, ac os cedwi fy nghadwraeth, tithau hefyd a ferni fy
nhy^, ac a gedwi fy nghynteddoedd; rhoddaf i ti hefyd leoedd i rodio ymysg y
rhai hyn sydd yn sefyll yma.
3:7 Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my
charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and
I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
3:8 Gwrando, atolwg, Josua yr
archoffeiriad, ti a'th gyfeillion sydd yn eistedd ger dy fron: canys gwy^r
rhyfedd yw y rhai hyn: oherwydd wele, dygaf allan fy ngwas Y BLAGURYN.
3:8 Hear now, O
Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they
are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
3:9 Canys wele, y garreg a roddais
gerbron Josua; ar un garreg y bydd saith o lygaid: wele fi yn naddu ei naddiad
hi, medd ARGLWYDD y lluoedd, a mi a symudaf ymaith anwiredd y tir hwnnw mewn un
diwrnod.
3:9 For behold
the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes:
behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will
remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
PENNOD 4
4:1 A’r angel yr hwn oedd yn ymddiddan â mi, a ddychwelodd, ac a'm
deffrôdd, fel y deffroir un o'i gwsg,
4:1 And the
angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened
out of his sleep,
4:2 Ac a ddywedodd wrthyf, Beth a weli
di? A mi a ddywedais, Edrychais, ac wele ganhwyllbren i gyd o aur, a'i badell
ar ei ben, a'i saith lusern
4:2 And said unto
me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of
gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven
pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
4:3 A dwy olewydden wrtho, y naill o'r tu
deau i'r badell, a'r llall o'r tu aswy iddi.
4:3 And two
olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the
left side thereof.
4:4 A mi a atebais, ac a ddywedais wrth
yr angel oedd yn ymddiddan â mi, gan ddywedyd, Beth yw y rhai hyn, fy arglwydd?
4:4 So I
answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my
lord?
4:5 A'r angel oedd yn ymddiddan â mi, a
atebodd, ac a ddywedodd wrthyf. Oni wyddost beth yw y rhai yma? Yna y dywedais,
Na wn, fy arglwydd.
4:5 Then the
angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what
these be? And I said, No, my lord.
4:6 Ac efe a atebodd ac a ddywedodd
wrthyf, gan ddywedyd, Hyn yw gair yr ARGLWYDD at Sorobabel, gan ddywedyd, Nid
trwy lu, ac nid trwy nerth, ond trwy fy ysbryd, medd ARGLWYDD y lluoedd.
4:6 Then he
answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto
Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the
LORD of hosts.
4:7 Pwy wyt ti, y mynydd mawr? gerbron
Sorobabel y byddi yn wastadedd, ac efe a ddwg allan y maen pennaf, gan weiddi,
Rhad, rhad iddo.
4:7 Who art
thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he
shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace
unto it.
4:8 Daeth gair yr ARGLWYDD ataf drachefn,
gan ddywedyd,
4:8 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
4:9 Dwylo Sorobabel a sylfaenasant y ty^
hwn, a'i ddwylo ef a'i gorffen: a chei wybod mai ARGLWYDD y lluoedd a'm
hebryngodd atoch.
4:9 The hands
of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also
finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.
4:12 A mi a atebais drachefn, ac a
ddywedais wrtho, Beth yw y ddau bincyn olewydden, y rhai trwy y ddwy bibell aur
sydd yn tywallt allan ohonynt eu hunain yr olew euraid?
PENNOD 5
5:1 Yna y troais, a chodais fy llygaid, ac edrychais; ac wele blyg
llyfr yn ehedeg.
5:1 Then I
turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.
5:2 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthyf, Beth a
weli di? A dywedais. Mi a welaf blyg llyfr yn ehedeg, a'i hyd yn ugain cufydd,
a'i led yn ddeg cufydd.
5:2 And he said
unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length
thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.
5:3 Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthyf, Dyma y
felltith sydd yn myned allan ar wyneb yr holl ddaear: canys pob un a ladrato, a
dorrir ymaith fel o'r tu yma, yn ei hôl hi; a phob un a dyngo, a dorrir ymaith
fel o'r tu acw, yn ei hôl hi.
5:3 Then said
he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole
earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according
to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according
to it.
5:4 Dygaf hi allan, medd ARGLWYDD y
lluoedd, a hi a ddaw i dy^ y lleidr, ac i dy^ y neb a dyngo i'm henw i ar gam:
a hi a erys yng nghanol ei dy^ ef, ac a'i difa ef, a'i goed, a'i gerrig.
5:4 I will
bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of
the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it
shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber
thereof and the stones thereof.
5:5 Yna yr angel oedd yn ymddiddan â mi,
a aeth allan, ac a ddywedodd wrthyf, Cyfod yn awr dy lygaid, ac edrych beth yw
hyn sydd yn myned allan.
5:5 Then the
angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes,
and see what is this that goeth forth.
5:6 A mi a ddywedais, Beth ydyw? Ac efe a
ddywedodd, Effa ydyw, sydd yn myned allan. Ac efe a ddywedodd, Dyma eu
gwelediad yn yr holl ddaear.
5:6 And I said,
What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover,
This is their resemblance through all the earth.
5:7 Ac wele dalent o blwm wedi ei godi i
fyny: a dyma wraig yn eistedd yng nghanol yr effa.
5:7 And,
behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth
in the midst of the ephah.
5:8 Ac efe a ddywedodd, Anwiredd yw hon.
Ac efe a'i taflodd hi i ganol yr effa, a bwriodd y pwys plwm ar ei enau ef.
5:8 And he
said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he
cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
5:9 A chyfodais fy llygaid, ac edrychais;
ac wele ddwy wraig yn dyfod allan, a gwynt yn eu hesgyll; canys esgyll oedd
ganddynt fel esgyll y ciconia: a chyfodasant yr effa rhwng y ddaear a'r
nefoedd.
5:9 Then lifted
I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind
was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they
lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

6:1 Hefyd mi a droais, ac a ddyrchefais fy llygaid, ac a edrychais,
ac wele bedwar o gerbydau yn dyfod allan oddi rhwng dau fynydd: a'r mynyddoedd
oedd fynyddoedd o bres.
6:1 And I
turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four
chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of
brass.
6:2 Yn y cerbyd cyntaf yr oedd meirch
cochion, ac yn yr ail gerbyd meirch duon,
6:2 In the
first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
6:3 Ac yn y trydydd cerbyd meirch
gwynion, ac yn y pedwerydd cerbyd meirch brithion a gwineuon.
6:3 And in the
third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.
6:4 Yna yr atebais, ac y dywedais wrth yr
angel oedd yn ymddiddan â mi, Beth yw y rhai hyn, fy arglwydd?
6:4 Then I
answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
6:5 A'r angel a atebodd ac a ddywedodd, Dyma
bedwar ysbryd y nefoedd, y rhai sydd yn myned allan o sefyll gerbron ARGLWYDD
yr holl ddaear.
6:5 And the
angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens,
which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
6:6 Y meirch duon sydd ynddo a ânt allan
i dir y gogledd; a'r gwynion a ânt allan ar eu hôl hwythau; a'r brithion a ânt
allan i'r deheudir.
6:6 The black
horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go
forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country.
6:7 A'r gwineuon a aethant allan, ac a
geisiasant fyned i gyniwair trwy y ddaear: ac efe a ddywedodd, Ewch,
cyniweirwch trwy y ddaear. Felly hwy a gyniweirasant trwy y ddaear.
6:7 And the bay
went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth:
and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked
to and fro through the earth.
6:8 Yna efe a waeddodd amaf, ac a
lefarodd wrthyf, gan ddywedyd, Edrych, y rhai a aethant i dir y gogledd a
lonyddasant fy ysbryd yn nhir y gogledd.
6:8 Then cried
he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north
country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
6:9 A daeth gair yr ARGLWYDD ataf, gan
ddywedyd,
6:9 And the
word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
6:10 Cymer gan y gaethglud, gan Heldai,
gan Tobeia, a chan Jedaia, y rhai a ddaethant o Babilon, a thyred y dydd hwnnw
a dos i dy^ Joseia mab Seffaneia:
6:10 Take of
them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are
come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah
the son of Zephaniah;
6:11 Yna cymer arian ac aur, a gwna
goronau, a gosod ar ben Josua mab Josedec yr archoffeiriad;
6:11 Then take silver
and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of
Josedech, the high priest;
6:12 A llefara wrtho, gan ddywedyd, Fel
hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y lluoedd, gan ddywedyd, Wele y gw^r a'i enw BLAGURYN: o'i
le hefyd y blagura, ac adeilada deml yr ARGLWYDD ;
6:12 And speak
unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose
name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build
the temple of the LORD:
6:13 Ie, teml yr ARGLWYDD a adeilada efe;
ac efe a ddwg y gogoniant, ac a eistedd, ac a lywodraetha ar ei frenhinfainc;
bydd yn offeiriad hefyd ar ei frenhinfainc: a chyngor hedd a fhydd rhyngddynt
ill dau.
PENNOD 7
7:1 Ac yn y bedwaredd flwyddyn i'r brenin Dareius y daeth gair yr
ARGLWYDD at Sechareia, ar y pedwerydd dydd o'r nawfed mis, sef Cisleu;
7:1 And it came
to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto
Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;
7:2 Pan anfonasent Sereser, a
Regem-melech, a'u gwy^r, i dy^ DDUW, i weddïo gerbron yr ARGLWYDD,
7:2 When they
had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray
before the LORD,
7:3 Ac i ddywedyd wrth yr offeiriaid oedd
yn nhy^ ARGLWYDD y lluoedd, ac wrth y proffwydi, gan ddywedyd, A wylaf fi y
pumed mis, gan ymneilltuo, fel y gwneuthum weithian gymaint o flynyddoedd?
7:3 And to speak unto the priests which were in
the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in
the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?
7:4 Yna gair ARGLWYDD y lluoedd a ddaeth
ataf, gan ddywedyd,
7:4 Then came
the word of the LORD of hosts unto me, saying,
7:5 Dywed wrth holl bobl y tir, ac wrth

7:5 Speak unto
all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and
mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all
fast unto me, even to me?
7:6 A phan fwytasoch, a phan yfasoch,
onid oeddech yn bwyta i chwi eich hunain, ac yn yfed i chwi eich hunain?
7:6 And when ye
did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for
yourselves?
7:7 Oni ddylech wrando y geiriau a
gyhoeddodd yr ARGLWYDD trwy law y proffwydi gynt, pan oedd Jerwsalem yn
gyfannedd, ac yn llwyddiannus, a'i dinasoedd o'i hamgylch, a phobl yn
cyfanheddu y deheudir a'r dyffryndir?
7:7 Should ye not hear the words which the LORD
hath cried by the former prophets, when
7:8 A daeth gair yr ARGLWYDD at
Sechareia, gan ddywedyd,
7:8 And the
word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,
7:9 Fel hyn y llefara ARGLWYDD y lluoedd,
gan ddywedyd, Bernwch farn gywir, gwnewch drugaredd a thosturi bob un i'w
frawd:
7:9 Thus
speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and
compassions every man to his brother:
7:10 Ac na orthrymwch y weddw a'r
amddifad, y dieithr a'r anghenog, ac na feddyliwch ddrwg bob un i'w gilydd yn
eich calonnau.
7:13 Therefore
it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried,
and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:
7:14 Ond gwasgerais hwynt â chorwynt i
blith yr holl genhedloedd y rhai nid adwaenent; a'r tir a anghyfanheddwyd ar eu
hôl hwynt, fel nad oedd a'i tramwyai nac a ddychwelai: felly y gosodasant y
wlad ddymunol yn ddiffeithwch.
PENNOD 8
8:1 Drachefn y daeth gair ARGLWYDD y lluoedd ataf, gan ddywedyd,
8:1 Again the
word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
8:2 Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y lluoedd;
Eiddigeddais eiddigedd mawr dros Seion ac â llid mawr yr eiddigeddais drosti.
8:2 Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for
8:3 Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD;
Dychwelais at Seion, a thrigaf yng nghanol Jerwsalem; a Jerwsalem a elwir Dinas
y gwirionedd; a mynydd ARGLWYDD y lluoedd, Y mynydd sanctaidd.
8:3 Thus saith
the LORD; I am returned unto
8:4 Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y lluoedd;
Hen wy^r a hen wragedd a drigant eto yn heolydd Jerwsalem, a phob gw^r â'i ffon
yn ei law oherwydd amlder dyddiau.
8:4 Thus saith the
LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of
8:5 A heolydd y ddinas a lenwir o fechgyn
a genethod yn chwarae yn ei heolydd hi.
8:5 And the
streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets
thereof.
8:6 Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y lluoedd;
Os anodd yw hyn yn y dyddiau hyn yng ngolwg gweddill y bobl hyn, ai anodd
fyddai hefyd yn fy ngolwg i? medd ARGLWYDD y lluoedd.
8:6 Thus saith the
LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in
these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.
8:7 Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y lluoedd;
Wele fi yn gwaredu fy mhobl o dir y dwyrain, ac o dir machludiad haul.
8:7 Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and
from the west country;
8:8 A mi a'u dygaf hwynt, fel y
preswyliont yng nghanol Jerwsalem: a hwy a fyddant yn bobl i mi, a byddaf
finnau iddynt hwythau yn DDUW mewn gwirionedd ac mewn cyfiawnder.
8:8 And I will
bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of
8:9 Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y lluoedd,
Cryfhaer eich dwylo chwi, y rhai ydych yn clywed yn y dyddiau hyn y geiriau hyn
o enau y proffwydi, y rhai oedd yn y dydd y sylfaenwyd ty^ ARGLWYDD y lluoedd,
fel yr adeiledid y deml.
8:9 Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these
words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation
of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
8:10 For before
these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there
any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set
all men every one against his neighbour.
8:13 And it
shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of
Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing:
fear not, but let your hands be strong.
8:14 Canys fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y
lluoedd; Fel y meddyliais eich drygu chwi, pan y'm digiodd eich tadau, medd

8:14 For thus
saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked
me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:
8:15 Felly drachefn y meddyliais yn y
dyddiau hyn wneuthur lles i Jerwsalem, ac i dy^ Jwda: nac ofnwch.
8:16 Dyma y pethau a wnewch chwi;
Dywedwch y gwir bawb wrth ei gymydog; bernwch farn gwirionedd a thangnefedd yn
eich pyrth;
8:16 These are the
things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute
the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
8:17 Ac na fwriedwch ddrwg neb i'w gilydd
yn eich calonnau; ac na hoffwch lw celwyddog: canys yr holl bethau hyn a
gaseais, medd yr ARGLWYDD.
8:18 A gair ARGLWYDD y lluoedd a ddaeth
ataf, gan ddywedyd,
8:18 And the
word of the LORD of hosts came unto me, saying,
8:19 Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y lluoedd;
Ympryd y pedwerydd mis, ac ympryd y pumed, ac ympryd y seithfed, ac ympryd y
degfed, a fydd i dy^ Jwda yn llawenydd a hyfrydwch, ac yn uchel wyliau daionus:
gan hynny cerwch wirionedd a heddwch.
8:19 Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and
the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of
Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and
peace.
8:23 Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take
hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of
him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is
with you.

9:1 The burden
of the word of the LORD in the
9:2 A Hamath hefyd a derfyna wrthi; Tyrus
a
9:2 And Hamath
also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise.
9:3 A Thyrus a adeiladodd iddi ei hun
amddiffynfa, ac a bentyrrodd arian fel llwch, ac aur coeth fel tom yr heolydd.
9:3 And Tyrus
did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine
gold as the mire of the streets.
9:4 Wele, yr ARGLWYDD a'i bwrw hi allan,
ac a dery ei nerth hi yn y môr; a hi a ysir â thân.
9:4 Behold, the
Lord will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall
be devoured with fire.
9:5 Ascalon a'i gwêl, ac a ofna; a Gasa,
ac a ymofidia yn ddirfawr; Ecron hefyd, am ei chywilyddio o'i gobaith; difethir
hefyd y brenin allan o Gasa, ac Ascalon ni chyfanheddir.
9:5
9:6 Estron hefyd a drig yn Asdod, a
thorraf ymaith falchder y Philistiaid.
9:6 And a
bastard shall dwell in
9:7 A mi a gymeraf ymaith ei waed o’i
enau, a'i ffieidd-dra oddi rhwng ei ddannedd: ac efe a weddillir i'n DUW ni,
fel y byddo megis pennaeth yn Jwda, ac Ecron megis Jebusiad.
9:7 And I will
take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his
teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as
a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.
9:8 A gwersyllaf o amgylch fy nhy^ rhag y
llu, rhag a êl heibio, a rhag a ddychwelo; fel nad elo gorthrymwr trwyddynt
mwyach: canys yn awr gwelais â'm llygaid.
9:8 And I will
encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by,
and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any
more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
9:9 Bydd lawen iawn, ti ferch Seion; a
chrechwena, ha ferch Jerwsalem: wele dy frenin yn dyfod atat: cyfiawn ac
achubydd yw efe; y mae efe yn llariaidd, ac yn marchogaeth ar asyn, ac ar ebol
llwdn asen.
9:9 Rejoice
greatly, O daughter of
9:12 Trowch i'r amddiffynfa, chwi
garcharorion gobeithiol; heddiw yr ydwyf yn dangos y talaf i ti yn ddauddyblyg:
9:12 Turn you
to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will
render double unto thee;
9:13 Pan anelwyf Jwda i mi, ac y llanwyf
y bwa ag Effraim, ac y cyfodwyf dy feibion di, Seion, yn erbyn dy feibion di,
Groeg, ac y'th wnelwyf fel cleddyf gw^r grymus:
9:13 When I
have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O
Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.
9:15 The LORD
of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling
stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall
be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.
PENNOD 10
10:1 Erchwch gan yr ARGLWYDD law mewn pryd diweddar law; a'r ARGLWYDD
a bair ddisglair gymylau, ac a ddyd iddynt gawod o law, i bob un laswellt yn y
maes.
10:1 Ask ye of
the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright
clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
10:2 Canys y delwau a ddywedasant wagedd,
a'r dewiniaid a welsant gelwydd, a fi a ddywedasant freuddwydion ofer;
rhoddasant ofer gysur: am hynny yr aethant fel defaid, cystuddiwyd hwynt, am
nad oedd bugail.
10:2 For the
idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false
dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they
were troubled, because there was no shepherd.
10:3 Wrth y bugeiliaid yr enynnodd fy
llid, a mi a gosbais y bychod: canys ARGLWYDD y lluoedd a ymwelodd a'i braidd
ty^ Jwda, ac a'u gwnaeth fel ei harddfarch yn y rhyfel.
10:3 Mine anger
was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of
hosts hath visited his flock the house of
10:4 Y gongl a ddaeth allan ohono, yr hoel
ohono, y bwa rhyfel ohono, a phob gorthrymwr ynghyd a ddaeth ohono.
10:4 Out of him
came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of
him every oppressor together.
10:5 A byddant fel cewri yn sathru eu
gelynion yn nhom yr heolydd yn y rhyfel: a hwy a ymladdant, am fod yr ARGLWYDD
gyda hwynt; a chywilyddir marchogion meirch.
10:5 And they
shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the
streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and
the riders on horses shall be confounded.
10:6 A nerthaf dy Jwda, a gwaredaf dy
Joseff, a pharaf iddynt ddychwelyd i'w cyfle; canys trugarheais wrthynt; a
byddant fel pe nas gwrthodaswn hwynt; oherwydd myfi yw yr ARGLWYDD eu DUW
hwynt, ac a'u gwrandawaf hwynt.
10:6 And I will
strengthen the house of
10:7 Bydd Effraim hefyd fel cawr, a'u
calonnau a lawenychant fel trwy win; a'u meibion a gânt weled, ac a
lawenychant; bydd eu calon yn hyfryd yn yr ARGLWYDD.
10:7 And they of
Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through
wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice
in the LORD.
10:8 Chwibanaf arnynt, a chasglaf hwynt;
canys gwaredais hwynt: ac amlhant fel yr amlhasant.
10:8 I will hiss
for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as
they have increased.
10:9 A heuaf hwynt ymysg y bobloedd: ac
mewn gwledydd pell y'm cofiant, a byddant fyw gyda'u plant, a dychwelant.
10:9 And I will
sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and
they shall live with their children, and turn again.

11:1 Libanus, agor dy ddorau, fel yr yso y tân dy gedrwydd.
11:1 Open thy
doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
11:2 Y ffynidwydd, udwch; canys cwympodd y
cedrwydd, difwynwyd y rhai ardderchog: udwch, dderw Basan; canys syrthiodd
coedwig y gwin-gynhaeaf.
11:2 Howl, fir
tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks
of
11:3 Y mae llef udfa y bugeiliaid! am
ddifwyno eu hardderchowgrwydd: llef rhuad y llewod ieuainc! am ddifwyno
balchder yr Iorddonen.
11:3 There is a voice of the howling of the
shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions;
for the pride of
11:4 Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD fy NUW;
Portha ddefaid y lladdfa;
11:4 Thus saith
the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;
11:5 Y rhai y mae eu perchenogion yn eu
lladd, heb dybied eu bod yn euog; a’u gwerthwyr a ddywedant, Bendigedig fyddo
yr ARGLWYDD, am fy nghyfoethogi; a'u bugeiliaid nid arbedant hwynt.
11:5 Whose
possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them
say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
11:6 Canys nid arbedaf mwyach drigolion y
wlad, medd yr ARGLWYDD; ond wele fi yn rhoddi y dynion bob un i law ei gymydog,
ac i law ei frenin; a hwy a drawant y tir, ac nid achubaf hwynt o'u llaw hwy.
11:6 For I will
no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will
deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his
king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver
them.
11:7 A mi a borthaf ddefaid y lladdfa, sef
chwi, drueiniaid y praidd. A chymerais i mi ddwy ffon; un a elwais Hyfrydwch,
a'r llall a elwais Rhwymau; a mi a borthais y praidd.
11:7 And I will
feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me
two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed
the flock.
11:8 A thorrais ymaith dri bugail mewn un
mis; a'm henaid a alarodd arnynt hwy, a'u henaid hwythau a'm ffieiddiodd innau,
11:8 Three shepherds
also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also
abhorred me.
11:9 Dywedais hefyd, Ni phorthaf chwi: a
fyddo farw, bydded farw; ac y sydd i'w dorri ymaith, torrer ef ymaith, a'r
gweddill, ysant bob un gnawd ei gilydd.
11:9 Then said
I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut
off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
11:11 A'r dydd hwnnw y torrwyd hi: ac
felly y gwybu trueiniaid y praidd, y rhai oedd yn disgwyl wrthyf fi, mai gair
yr ARGLWYDD oedd hyn.
11:11 And it was
broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that
it was the word of the LORD.
11:12 A dywedais wrthynt, Os gwelwch yn
dda, dygwch fy ngwerth; ac onid e, peidiwch: a'm gwerth a bwysasant yn ddeg ar
hugain o arian.
11:12 And I said
unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they
weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
11:13 A dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrthyf, Bwrw
ef i'r crochenydd: pris teg â'r hwn y'm prisiwyd ganddynt. A chymerais y deg ar
hugain arian, a bwriais hwynt i dy^ yr ARGLWYDD, i'r crochenydd.
11:13 And the
LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at
of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in
the house of the LORD.
11:14 Yna mi a dorrais fy ail ffon, sef
Rhwymau, i dorri y brawdoliaeth rhwng Jwda ac Israel.
11:14 Then I cut
asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood
between Judah and Israel.
11:15 A'r ARGLWYDD a ddywedodd wrthyf,
Cymer eto i ti offer bugail ffôl.
11:15 And the
LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
11:16 Canys wele fi yn codi bugail yn y
tir, yr hwn ni ofwya y cuddiedig, ni chais yr ieuanc, ni feddyginiaetha y
briwedig, a fyddo yn sefyll ni phortha; ond bwyty gig y bras, ac a ddryllia eu
hewinedd hwynt.
11:16 For, lo, I
will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut
off, neither shall seek the young one, still: but he shall eat the flesh of the
fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
11:17 Gwae yr eilun bugail, yn gadael y
praidd: y cleddyffydd ar ei fraich, ac ar ei lygad deau: ei fraich gan wywo a
wywa, a'i lygad deau gan dywyllu a dywylla.
11:17 Woe to the
idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon
his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be
utterly darkened.

12:1 Baich gair yr ARGLWYDD i Israel, medd yr ARGLWYDD, yr hwn sydd yn
estyn allan y nefoedd, ac yn sylfaenu y ddaear, ac yn llunio ysbryd dyn ynddo.
12:1 The burden
of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the
heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man
within him.
12:2 Wele fi yn gwneuthur Jerwsalem yn
ffiol gwsg i'r bobloedd oll o amgylch, pan fyddont yn y gwarchae yn erbyn Jwda,
ac yn erbyn Jerwsalem.
12:2 Behold, I will
make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they
shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
12:3 A bydd y dwthwn hwnnw i mi wneuthur
Jerwsalem yn faen trwm i'r holl bobloedd: pawb a ymlwytho ag ef yn ddiau a
rwygir, er ymgasglu o holl genhedloedd y ddaear yn ei erbyn ef.
12:3 And in that
day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden
themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth
be gathered together against it.
12:4 Y diwrnod hwnnw, medd yr ARGLWYDD, y
trawaf bob march â syndra, a'i farchog ag ynfydrwydd; ac agoraf fy llygaid ar
dy Jwda, a thrawaf holl feirch y bobl â dallineb.
12:4 In that
day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider
with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite
every horse of the people with blindness.
12:5 A thywysogion Jwda a ddywedant yn eu
calon, Nerth i mi fydd preswylwyr Jerwsalem yn ARGLWYDD y lluoedd eu DUW hwynt.
12:5 And the
governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall
be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.
12:6 Y dydd hwnnw y gwnaf dywysogion Jwda
fel aelwyd o dân yn y coed, ac fel ffagl dân mewn ysgub o wellt; ac ysant ar y
llaw ddeau ac ar yr aswy, yr holl bobloedd o amgylch: a Jerwsalem a gyfanheddir
drachefn yn ei lle ei hun, yn Jerwsalem.
12:6 In that day
will I make the governors of
12:7 Yr ARGLWYDD a geidw bebyll Jwda yn
gyntaf, megis nad ymfawrygo gogoniant ty^ Dafydd, a gogoniant preswylwyr
Jerwsalem, yn erbyn Jwda.
12:7 The LORD
also shall save the tents of
12:8 Y dydd hwnnw yr amddiffyn yr ARGLWYDD
breswylwyr Jerwsalem: a bydd y llesgaf ohonynt y dydd hwnnw fel Dafydd; a thy^
Dafydd fydd fel Duw, fel angel yr ARGLWYDD o'u blaen hwynt.
12:8 In that day
shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among
them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as
the angel of the LORD before them.
12:9 Y dydd hwnnw y bydd i mi geisio
difetha yr holl genhedloedd y sydd yn dyfod yn erbyn Jerwsalem.
12:9 And it
shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations
that come against
12:10 And I will
pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit
of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have
pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and
shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart,
and their wives apart;

wrtho ei hun, a'u gwragedd wrthynt eu hunain.

13:1 Y dydd hwnnw y bydd ffynnon wedi ei hagoryd i dy^ Dafydd, ac i
breswylwyr Jerwsalem, i bechod ac aflendid.
13:1 In that day
there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants
of
13:2 A bydd y dwthwn hwnnw, medd ARGLWYDD
y lluoedd, i mi dorri enwau yr eilunod allan o'r tir, ac
13:2 And it
shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off
the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered:
and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the
land.
13:3 A bydd pan broffwydo un mwyach, y
dywed ei dad a'i fam a'i cenedlasant ef wrtho, Ni chei fyw; canys dywedaist
gelwydd yn enw yr ARGLWYDD: a'i dad a'i fam a'i cenedlasant ef a'i gwanant ef
pan fyddo yn proffwydo.
13:3 And it
shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his
mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou
speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat
him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
13:4 A bydd y dydd hwnnw, i'r proffwydi
gywilyddio bob un am ei weledigaeth, wedi iddo broffwydo; ac ni wisgant grys o
rawn i dwyllo:
13:4 And it
shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of
his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to
deceive:
13:5 Ond efe a ddywed, Nid proffwyd ydwyf
fi; llafurwr y ddaear ydwyf fi; canys dyn a'm dysgodd i gadw anifeiliaid o'm
hieuenctid.
13:5 But he
shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep
cattle from my youth.
13:6 A dywed un wrtho, Beth a wna y
gwelïau hyn yn dy ddwylo? Yna efe a ddywed, Dyma y rhai y'm clwyfwyd â hwynt yn
nhy^ fy ngharedigion.
13:6 And one
shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer,
Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
13:7 Deffro, gleddyf, yn erbyn fy mugail,
ac yn erbyn y gw^r sydd gyfaill i mi, medd ARGLWYDD y lluoedd: taro y bugail,
a'r praidd a wasgerir; a dychwelaf fy llaw ar y rhai bychain.
13:7 Awake, O
sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the
LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will
turn mine hand upon the little ones.
13:8 A bydd yn yr holl dir, medd yr
ARGLWYDD, y torrir ymaith ac y bydd marw dwy ran ynddo; a'r drydedd a adewir
ynddo.
13:8 And it
shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein
shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
13:9 A dygaf drydedd ran trwy y tân, a
phuraf hwynt fel puro arian, a choethaf hwynt fel coethi aur: hwy a alwant ar
fy enw, a minnau a'u gwrandawaf: dywedaf, Fy mhobl yw efe; ac yntau a ddywed,
Yr ARGLWYDD yw fy NUW.
13:9 And I will
bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is
refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I
will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my
God.
PENNOD 14
14:1 Wele ddydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dyfod, a rhennir dy ysbail yn dy ganol
di.
14:1 Behold, the
day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
14:2 Canys mi a gasglaf yr holl genhedloedd
i ryfel yn erbyn Jerwsalem: a'r ddinas a oresgynnir, y tai a anrheithir, a'r
gwragedd a dreisir; a hanner y ddinas a a allan i gaethiwed, a'r rhan arall o'r
bobl nis torrir ymaith o'r ddinas.
14:2 For I will
gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken,
and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go
forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from
the city.
14:3 A'r ARGLWYDD a â allan, ac a ryfela
yn erbyn y cenhedloedd hynny, megis y dydd y rhyfelodd efe yn nydd y gad.
14:3 Then shall
the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the
day of battle.
14:4 A'i draed a safant y dydd hwnnw ar
fynydd yr Olewydd, yr hwn sydd ar gyfer Jerwsalem, o du y dwyrain; a mynydd yr
Olewydd a hyllt ar draws ei hanner tua'r dwyrain a thua'r gorllewin, a bydd
dyffryn mawr iawn: a hanner y mynydd a symud tua'r gogledd, a'i hanner tua'r
deau.
14:4 And his
feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before
Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst
thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great
valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it
toward the south.
14:5 A chwi a ffowch i ddyffryn y
mynyddoedd; canys dyffryn y mynyddoedd a gyrraedd hyd Asal: a ffowch fel y
ffoesoch rhag y ddaeargryn yn nyddiau Usseia brenin Jwda: a daw yr ARGLWYDD fy
NUW, a'r holl saint gyda thi.
14:5 And ye
shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains
shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the
earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come,
and all the saints with thee.
14:6 A'r dydd hwnnw y daw i ben, na byddo
goleuni disglair, na thywyll:
14:6 And it
shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
14:7 Ond bydd un diwrnod, hwnnw a adwaenir
gan yr ARGLWYDD, nid dydd, ac nid nos; ond bydd goleuni yn yr hwyr.
14:7 But it
shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it
shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
14:8 A bydd y dwthwn hwnnw, y daw allan o
Jerwsalem ddyfroedd bywiol; eu hanner hwynt tua môr y dwyrain, a'u hanner tua'r
môr eithaf: haf a gaeaf y bydd hyn.
14:8 And it
shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of
them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer
and in winter shall it be.
14:9 A'r ARGLWYDD a fydd yn Frenin ar yr
holl ddaear: y dydd hwnnw y bydd un ARGLWYDD, a'i enw yn un.
14:9 And the
LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and
his name one.
14:10 Troir yr holl dir megis yn wastad o
Geba hyd Rimmon, o'r tu deau i Jerwsalem: hi a ddyrchefir, ac a gyfanheddir yn
ei lle, o borth Benjamin hyd le y porth cyntaf, hyd borth y gongl, ac o dwr
Hananeel hyd winwryfau y brenin.
14:10 All the
land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it
shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the
place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel
unto the king's winepresses.
14:11 Yno y trigant ynddi, ac ni bydd yn
ddifrod mwyach; ond Jerwsalem a gyfanheddir yn ddienbyd.
14:11 And men
shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem
shall be safely inhabited.
14:12 A hyn fydd y pla a'r hwn y tery yr
ARGLWYDD yr holl bobloedd a ryfelant yn erbyn Jerwsalem; Eu cnawd a dderfydd,
er eu bod yn sefyll ar eu traed, a'u llygaid a ddarfyddant yn eu tyllau, a'u
tafod a dderfydd yn eu safn.
14:12 And this
shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have
fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon
their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue
shall consume away in their mouth.
14:13 Y dydd hwnnw y bydd mawr derfysg oddi
wrth yr ARGLWYDD yn eu plith hwynt; a phob un a ymafael yn llaw ei gymydog, a'i
law a gyfyd yn erbyn llaw ei gymydog.
14:13 And it
shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be
among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and
his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
14:14 A Jwda hefyd a ryfela yn Jerwsalem:
a chesglir golud yr holl genhedloedd o amgylch, aur ac arian, a gwisgoedd lawer
iawn.
14:14 And Judah
also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about
shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
14:15 Ac felly y bydd pla y march, y mul,
y camel, yr asyn, a phob anifail a fyddo yn y gwersylloedd hyn, fel y pla hwn.
14:15 And so
shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass,
and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
14:16 A bydd i bob un a adawer o’r holl
genhedloedd a ddaethant yn erbyn Jerwsalem, fyned i fyny o flwyddyn i flwyddyn,
i addoli y Brenin, ARGLWYWDD y lluoedd, ac i gadw gw^yl y pebyll.
14:16 And it
shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came
against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the
LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
14:17 A phwy bynnag nid êl i fyny o
deuluoedd y ddaear i Jerwsalem, i addoli y Brenin, ARGLWYDD y lluoedd, ni bydd
glaw arnynt.
14:17 And it
shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto
Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no
rain.
14:18 Ac os teulu yr Aifft nid â i fyny,
ac ni ddaw, y rhai nid oes glaw arnynt; yno y bydd y pla â'r hwn y tery yr
ARGLWYDD y cenhedloedd y rhai nid esgynnant i gadw gw^yl y pebyll.
14:18 And if the
family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the
plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the
feast of tabernacles.
14:19 Hyn a fydd cosb yr Aifft, a chosb yr
holl genhedloedd nid elont i fyny i gadw gw^yl y pebyll.
14:19 This shall
be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up
to keep the feast of tabernacles.
14:20 Y dydd hwnnw y bydd ar ffrwynau y
meirch, SANCTEIDDRWYDD I'R ARGLWYDD; a bydd y crochanau yn nhy^ yr ARGLWYDD fel
meiliau gerbron yr allor.
14:20 In that
day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and
the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
14:21 Bydd pob crochan yn Jerwsalem ac yn
Jwda yn Sancteiddrwydd i ARGLWYDD y lluoedd: a daw pob aberthwr, ac a gymerant
ohonynt, ac a ferwant ynddynt; ac ni bydd Canaanead mwyach yn nhy^ ARGLWYDD y
lluoedd y dydd hwnnw.
14:21 Yea, every
pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all
they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in
that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of
hosts.
